Overall stay as expected, went quite smoothly. A lamp was not working in the room, and there were no chargers by the bedside table.

Ik verbleef slechts twee nachten in de Super 8 toen ik een evenement in Pioneertown bijwoonde, dus ik was alleen echt op het terrein en in de omgeving om me klaar te maken om te vertrekken en te slapen. Het pand is vrij minimaal, maar het is bevredigend genoeg voor wat je nodig hebt als je in en uit gaat. Het personeel was super aardig.

Geweldig verblijf, maar AC-problemen Ik heb onlangs het genoegen gehad om in [Hotelnaam] te verblijven en over het algemeen was het een heerlijke ervaring met een klein probleempje. Het hotel beschikt over een elegante sfeer, attent personeel en fantastische voorzieningen die het tot een topkeuze maken voor een comfortabel verblijf. Er was echter een klein probleem dat mijn ervaring enigszins beïnvloedde: de airconditioning in mijn kamer functioneerde niet goed.

I really wanted to like this place. We won't stay there again. "Wyndham," seriously?? The entire hotel (including in our room) had the stale aroma of exotically spiced food cooked over and over again (owners live there?). I couldn't get used to it. I liked the look of the new bedspreads and art on the wall, but the bedspread and blanket were both unclean and gave me the heeby-geebies. Total lipstick on a pig. Also, the bed was a double, not a queen like in the ad. The covers were thin, and not big enough to cover 2 people sleeping on their sides. Luckily I had warm jammies and was able to give the covers to my husband, who was freezing. The remote control for the TV wasn't working and the lobby guy (very friendly person) was kind enough to change the batteries, but it still didn't work unless we got out of bed and held it against the TV sensor. The lighting was very dingy and I kept looking for another light to turn on. The room coffee was horrible but the lobby coffee was ok, it got us down the road.

At $200/night we felt it was very overpriced. The hotel decor was poor. Fake grey vinyl flooring that was pulling apart and fluorescent lights in vandal-resistant plastic lens. The reception desk area (behind the glass) was cluttered. The room, which was a suite, had a queen and a king bed, a dresser, that the drawers would not stay closed, an ironing board hanging out facing the bed (would have been nicer if it was at least by the entryway), The room was sloppily painted, with paint on the toilet paper dispenser holder. We slept in and when we asked for our room to be made, we were informed the cleaning person had gone for the day, so we did not get our bed or room made up for the second day of our stay, including not getting paper cups and coffee for a second morning. The outside of the hotel was shabby, with broken irrigation pipes sticking out of the ground, erosion around the sidewalks, the man at the desk who checked us in was efficient but not very friendly. We would definitely not return and would definitely not recommend it.
