Pine Country Caravan Park

Nice park on the southern edge of town. Felt safe and secure. Clean facilities. Angled drive through bays. Happy to stay again.

I booked an Ensuite site for my tent. I would **never** recommend a person to camp in a tent in an Ensuite site. The caravan park is located on the corner of two main roads which semi-trailers, logging trucks, and other industrial vehicles use all day and all night. I was woken at least hourly during my first night. Add to this noise, the permanent site residents' cars leaving at 5 am each day woke me as well. Do not book an Ensuite site if you are staying in a tent. I had to go and buy earplugs so that I could sleep. It is definitely not a quiet park as they advertise on their website.

Lovely area with fantastic amenities Very clean & well maintained with a wonderful camp kitchen & outdoor area with picnic tables We stayed with our camper trailer but noticed some cute yurts with beautiful outlook which would also be nice to stay in.

The place is nice, but we had a bad experience with the unpowered site. They located the spot just next to the bins, so everyone was walking the whole time over to our site to dispose of their waste. It was also rude from one of the staff on the way saying to us we were not able to cook with our BBQ as if we were doing a bonfire or something. I get the fire Ban, but this, as far as I know, applies to everyone. he was just bothering us, not others who were doing it or people from the glamping. RULES SHOULD APPLY TO EVERYONE. We were following the instructions, but he just decided to come and piss us off the whole weekend. THIS IS NOT HOW YOU TREAT YOUR GUESTS. The toilet should be cleaned twice a day they were never cleaned at night or morning.

I love the unpowered section of this caravan park. It’s well tended with lots of space and nice grassy areas. Great camping facilities such ad camp kitchen and nice area to sit and eat/socialise next to the camp kitchen. Good value too compared to other caravan parks.

The park is a short drive out of town with a few small shops about 400m walk away. Great drive through sites with plenty of space to set up the caravan and park the car safely. The grounds and facilities were well cared for and the staff were friendly and helpful. The code key entry at the front entrance could be lifted up a bit. Modern larger 4wd car windows like ours are quite a bit higher up than the key pad is. But not a big deal. We would recommend this one if you’re planning a visit to Mount Gambier.

Beautiful clean friendly park. Staff were excellent and the amenities and park were spotless. Easy access to park your caravan and close to Mt Gambier and all the attractions it has to offer. Would definitely recommend this park. Thank you for such an enjoyable stay.

Too many good things at this caravan park, you have the managers, Nathan, Peter and Louise so friendly and helpful , especially if you have a problem, they are “hands on “people. Large sites, excellent and clean amenities, Glamping Tents, kids Jumping Pilliow, well equipped Camp Kitchen and outside seating which is well lite . For the Adults there is a nice selection of local wines an spirits as the park has a liquor license. Pets are very welcome, they can even bring their humans lol, lol.

Holy moley - first time flaming and this did not disappoint! The attention to detail was amazing - and it is totally fancy having your own ensuite !! Was not expecting that !! Everything from the set up of the fire pit (complete with instructions) to the insanely comfortable bed, high quality linen, and the little touches like ear plugs was just beautiful. We only rated one night but wished we could have stayed more. Indulge yourself … a night by the fire under a million stars with the resident alpacas looking on is just gorgeous.
