Auberge de La Fontaine

Good cozy place for a weekend, the neighbourhood is pretty and coffee shops abound around the hotel. Would recommend for a weekend.

The staff were accommodating and kind. They gave us great advice and we’re good ambassadors of Montréal.

The place is very nice. But the refregirator in the tv room and the electric heating in the bedroom make a really annoying noise. It really need to be repaired or changed

Really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. It was cosy, clean, quiet and comfortable. Great location for walking around Plateau Mont Royal, where there are restaurants, shops and great cafes. The staff were really friendly and helpful. I would absolutely recommend staying here.

The location is great and the park is a super spot to spend time. The staff were so helpful and we loved that all the rooms are slightly different. We didn't have the breakfast but it looked very enticing. The beds were comfy and the room quiet. We will return!

Charming establishment located in an active but peaceful part of Montreal with a view of Parc La Fontaine. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Front Desk closes early but a staff member is always on site for your needs. We walked everywhere, we even walked to the Olympic Stadium (exactly 4 kms). If we go back to Montreal we will most probably stay there again.

We arrived a little on the early side and the host was very kind and gave us a super clean room straight away. Their parking was full but there was some still available in the surrounding streets. The building seems very well maintained for such an old one. Everything went super fine, we quite enjoyed the decor of the room as well as the comfort of the bed, the sheets were super clean and all. The only complaint that I would have is the fact we can hear a lot of noise inside the room and it definitely prevented us from having a good night of sleep unfortunately, despite a comfortable mattress and pillows. The AC was setup a bit on the warmer side, the temp of the room did not get below 23C. Otherwise overall it's a super clean and nice place to stay on the Plateau, we really enjoyed our stay despite waking up a bit tired because of the noise. We did not take the breakfast option since the hotel is about a 8 minutes walk from St-Viateur bagel which is probably the absolute best place to eat in the morning in all Montreal. The hotel is also very close to La Banquise for the poutines fans out there, it's probably the best one you will eat in your life for sure. The Mont-Royal metro station also at a very easy 10 minutes walking distance from the hotel so that is another plus. I really recommend this place, but one thing I would suggest is bring ear plugs! Otherwise this is a very nice and affordable place!

The hotel is lovely, located on a beautiful park. Parking is a giant pain but it's not their fault, and they help figure it out. It is very vertical, so be aware. The rooms are very clean, having coffee on the balcony overlooking the park was wonderful, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
