Een geweldige plek (midden in het oude middeleeuwse centrum van Montpellier) en een hotel met 5* service en een verfijnd restaurant. Mocht je Montpellier nog nooit hebben bezocht; doe het middels een verblijf in dit hotel en je zult op alle fronten positief verrast worden!!

Sadly, the shower was a nostalgic bathtub with a curtain. The tub was too difficult to step into and each time we showered, there was a flood over the entire bathroom floor. When getting out of the shower, it took careful balancing to ensure that we didn't fall over. This is not what one expects from a 5 star hotel

This gorgeous and very historic hotel is extremely luxe, chic and elegant and faces a gorgeous picturesque square in the centre of Montpellier., with beautiful walks nearby. We had some issues with the service which was at times less than expected of a luxury hotel, but these were acknowledged and addressed. Breakfast was in a beautiful room but the offering was not very special. The hotel is also an easy walk from the main station, which can be faster than getting a taxi. Despite there being room for improvement, this hotel comes highly recommended. Splurge on a balcony room if you can!

This hotel is just 5 Star on all points. Stayed for 2 nights with my partner for a special birthday and the hotel kindly provided a superb upgrade on arrival to a stunning room with a balcony with a wonderful view . We even got champagne as a free gift . Best bed we have ever slept in, sparking clean room

This hotel is an absolute gem, located in a beautiful and tranquil square in the heart of Montpellier. The building has been wonderfully restored and combines modernity with historical features perfectly. We ate at both the bistro and the gastronomic restaurant and enjoyed both experiences enormously. The staff are charming and we would really recommend a visit to the hotel, which is an oasis in this bustling city. We have stayed in many Relais & Chateaux across France and this may now well be our favourite. Merci beaucoup!!

Really wonderful place, best place to stay in Montpellier. Wonderful room, bar, property, location and restaurant is exceptional. I will defiantly go back and recommend to others. It is pricy as are most quality hotels, but this one does not in any way dissapoint.

My adult daughter and I were traveling from Barcelona across the south of france to meet the rest of our family in Italy. We randomly chose Montpelier- a town we knew little about- and our travel agent found this hotel. Montpelier and this amazing hotel ended up one of the highlights of our trip. Great location in the charming old town, exquisite interiors, a stunning room and a phenomenal breakfast buffet. Very helpful and attentive staff.

This is a beautiful hotel just recently redone. The rooms are well designed and very comfortable, with some overlooking the pleasant place de la canourgue . The service is good overall, but we found the reception sometimes a bit cold, not smiling and greeting guests which would be expected at a 5 star hotel. The location is great though the place can get a little rowdy at night and the windows are not fully insulated, possibly due to the historic nature of the building. Overall it was a nice experience and we would return.

Lovely small hotel in heart of Montpelier with well-appointed rooms. A historic building with wonderful frescoes in the ceiling, especially in the restaurant. Very close to Cathedral, botanical gardens, Arc de Triomphe, shopping, and cafes. I especially liked the location on place Canourgue — this was a quiet square with a nice garden and several cafes — very much a neighborhood feel, and was one of my favorite places to relax in the city. Be aware that the square is difficult to reach by car or taxi. It is just a fast to walk to the train station (it is not far) as it is to hail a cab. The service was helpful and friendly, as I would expect form a hotel in this class. The hotel restaurant is Michelin-starred and a memorable experience. Many other fantastic restaurants and cafes within a short walk. Thoroughly recommended.
