Het hotel ziet er precies hetzelfde uit als op de foto’s. De kamer is niet groot maar dat wisten we, er zijn grotere kamers maar daar betaal je voor. Wij vonden dit prima, zeker in verhouding met de prijs. Het zwembad was heel fijn en er waren meestal genoeg ligbedjes. Veel gasten maken uitstapjes naar Pisa Florence of Sienna. Monte Carlo is ook een bezoekje waard. Ga zeker eens met de Funicolare naar monticatini Alto, leuk om daar te eten. Het ontbijt in het hotel is gewoon goed, voor ieder wat wils. Van vers fruit tot gebak en verse wafels sapjes croissantjes stokbrood en toast. Scrambelt eggs yoghurth etc en mis je iets, vraag het dan!

Zeer onvriendelijk personeel. Vuile kamer die amper gepoetst werd. 7ncht verbleven zonder propere lakens. (Gemeld bij receptie) Airco die niet deftig werkte. Lek en schimmel in badkamer. Kapotte ligbedjes bij zwembad. Mondmaskers werd alleen door ontbijtdame (wel vriendelijk) deftig gedragen. Geen aanrader.

zeer aangenaam hotel vriendelijk personeel rustige ligging alles volgens de geldende covid regels mooi verzorgd zwembad ontbijt was lekker en gevarieerd goed om uit te rusten en batterijen terug op te laden goede uitvalbasis om toscane te ontdekken

Het hotel is wat gedateerd maar proper. Het ontbijt is wat men van een ontbijt mag verwachten, alles wat je vraagt brengen ze je direct. De bediening is super. Het eten in het restaurant is super en niet prijzig maar eerder goedkoop. Ook de wijnen die worden aangeprezen zijn lekker.

Nice hotel, good facilities, friendly and service minded personell. Butt dinner meal didn´t reach expected quality. Too many people and too few personell. Food not of expected quality, more like industrial kitchen food than restaurant food.

This was my first visit in Italy and needed somewhere well priced for my stay. The grand hotel panoramic was truly excellent. From the staff to the food to the location, they were all wonderful and I would certainly consider staying here again in the future!

Very disappointing. Tired and in need of refurbishment throughout. Very poor quality of food… very limited selection at breakfast, with no fresh fruit. I regretted trying a hard boiled egg as it was stone cold and the white wasn’t cooked. We also had dinner one night, which was completely tasteless. Only 1 plank-like pillow per bed, no soap in the bathroom until the day we were leaving.

Our tour group stayed here for two nights. The place was dated and staff unfriendly. When I got into my room it was a nightmare. Bathroom wasn’t nice at all. Shower disgusting and I couldn’t fit in and turn around in it. Also had an adjoining room which I never as a single person like to be in for safety reasons. I asked at reception if I could get another room as others told me their rooms were fine. I was waved away told hotel is full. Two staff came to my room and argued that all the bathrooms were the same and no one could get in my room. They were so rude and would not listen to my concerns. I spoke to our tour guide who spoke to the tour company and they told me the same no other rooms available that day. I ended up swapping rooms with the tour guide who had a room at the hotel behind which was such a huge difference in every way. Then the next night I had to go back to this hotel and the room was a little better but still had an adjoining room. The food we got here was extremely underwhelming and very little choice at dinner no choices just what was put in front of you. Staff were arguing behind our table when we were sitting there, very unprofessional. So happy to leave this one far far behind.

We fell in love both with Montecatini and the Panoramic Hotel. There is an old worldly charm about this hotel and the staff and cuisine were excellent. Everyone at the Panoramic Hotel deserves a round of applause. It's location is very useful for the Funucular but for us with slight walking disabilities it was a long way from downtown, fortunately there we many places to sit and rest on our excursions into town and back.
