My wife and I have travelled actively in Europe over the years. And we’ve enjoyed many outstanding hotel and B&B experiences. The owner-operated Hotel Monells Summum is among the best, perhaps THE BEST. Well-situated between Girona and coastal villages such as Cadaques and Tossa de Mar, Monells offers a restful location along with convenient road access points. Mirta, the proprietor, fashioned a decorator’s dream. Common space and guest rooms provide a unique combination of comfort, thoughtful inclusions and exemplary design. Each of the three floors includes amply sized living space. The swimming pool and surrounding rest areas afford the feel of home living. Breakfasts are sumptuous, and healthy. Mirta is a dream hostess, one who is consistently proactive in meeting the needs of her guests. We unhesitatingly recommend Hotel Monells Summum.

This hotel is a true gem, everything is perfect. Small little Spanish village in the middle of great places to go to, beautiful rooms, clean and spacious and room Kolibrie has a great private terrace overlooking the pool area. Pool is small but clean and the area around it is spacious. You can relax, drink something from the bar, whilst listening to the small birds. The breakfast is great, with every day fresh prepared juices, different cakes, omelet, small fresh fruit bowls and such amazing staff, helping you every step of the way. Martha also gave us great diner tips in the area!

We had a wonderful stay at Monells Summum!! Marta as our host was so caring and welcoming, a really exceptional experience…also, Monells is a great starting point to discover the surrounding areas; hence, this place is definitely a recommendation!!

Absolute Bliss. We loved our stay here. Monells is v quiet, but beautiful. Marta and her team couldn’t do enough for us. From booking taxis to recommending and booking restaurants. The locality and scenery absolutely stunning. Highly recommend.

Habíamos leído las buenas referencias, pero la realidad ha superado nuestras expectativas. La amabilidad del personal, la calidad de las estancias y de la comida, la estética y al mismo tiempo funcionalidad del hotel. Habéis tenido mucho gusto para todo, chicas!. Volveremos seguro!!. Gracias!!

Hotel lleno de encanto, situado en un pueblo precioso y tranquilo. Decorado con mucho gusto, desde que entras por la puerta se respira paz y relax. Cama y almohada comodísima, zona de piscina ideal, atención exquisita y un desayuno perfecto. No se puede pedir más.

Espectacular hotel domotizado en una casa medieval de Monells. Fuimos a este hotel por los comentarios que veíamos de él y no nos defraudó en ningún momento, incluso superó las expectativas. Pasamos aquí dos noches de lujo, el trato de la propietaria Marta impecable, nos hizo sentir como en casa y siempre pendiente de que no nos faltara de nada. Los desayunos son insuperables, embutidos y quesos de la zona, bollería de calidad y productos bio, al igual que tiene muy pendiente cualquier intolerancia que puedas tener. De todos los hoteles que hemos pernoctado durante nuestras vacaciones en Gerona y Costa Brava, este sin duda ha sido el mejor pero con diferencia. Muchas gracias Marta por hacernos sentir tan cómodos. Sin duda volveremos a visitarte.

Très bel endroit, tout est de très bon goût. L’accueil est chaleureux, tout le personnel est charmant. Après les visites dans les alentours, c’était un plaisir de se retrouver au calme, au bord de la piscine. Le nombre réduit de chambre (une dizaine) contribue au sentiment de calme et de quiétude du lieu. Très envie de revenir passer quelques jours dans ce beau lieu.
