Winbi River Resort Holiday Rentals

Winbi resort is a wnner The accomodation was perfect, spacious, clean and with all amenties required for a family holiday. A short walk to the river, the exclusive boat ramp and large grassed areas was excellent and at times home to a family of kangaroos. A very beautiful and quiet location - great for all ages.

Great place to stay. Clean, spacious, renovated interior. Private gardens and lots of space for the kids. Ample parking for the boat with private boat ramp, it just made life easy.

Very clean, beautiful maintained gardens

Overall we enjoyed our stay, the rooms were very clean and the communication was really good. Thank you so much we will book again. However you should know: Around the property: Of the two pools, one was clean, the other one dirty, we cleaned up the leaf litter on the surface ourselves but couldn't fix the buildup on the floor of the pool. Of the two spas, one was empty, the other one so filthy we couldn't use it.

Host is charged additional 65 dollars from my card for kitchen clean up. Its rediculous since we have cleaned all the dishes even we remove pillow cover and linen seperated and pilled up for courtesy request. She is sending one picture and vedio taken from somwhere else to proof. She is belueving the cleaner's instruction and charged extra 65. We are giving our card information to wotif npt for this kind of unauthorized transaction.This is unacceptable. Also the winbi office asked yo cancell the booking through wotfi for and ask to book direcy to winbi fot a discounted rate.

Excellent site clean and tidy great position right on the river

We rented a Riverview cabin which was great. A very well appointed and decorated clean cabin with lots of extras to make your stay comfortable. The bathroom and shower were quit spacious. No problem with utensils etc. the beds were great, the towels were soft and the Freddo’s were appreciated. Our gripe is, when I called Liz was concerned that she may not have a cleaner to fix the place for us. She had to check and called me back. ‘It should be ok, if not, I’ll just have to do it myself’ are the exact words I was told when she called me. No reception, even though the sign is still there. The office is locked and full of dust and cobwebs. It’s not a good first impression. Signage at the gate is not informative at all. Yes we had an email but no info was available at the resort. We drove around three times prior to finding our cabin. Signage on the roads would be handy. My friend and I went out in the evening. We were dropped back at dark time and not a single light was on - no street lights at all. It was quite scary for two females retuning from dinner. We felt quite vulnerable. There is a light directly outside the cabin door that wasn’t on. We couldn’t go to the river in the evening without taking a torch. The cabin was great but the resort was a let down. The spider and cobweb in the toilet was a nice touch.

A B&B by Another Name The location is fantastic. The Resort is overstated in ads. It is weary, tired and close to run down. No management on site to sort out problems. It is really a B&B not worthy of a resort listing. Still enjoyed the stay. It is just oversold.
