Flora and Fauna Mirissa

Exactly what a guesthouse should be. Sam and his wife are very helpful and friendly. It is well located at the same time as being relaxed and somehow quiet. The room we stayed in was lovely - bright and airy. If you’re looking for something that is not too expensive, but makes you feel at peace, this is the place.

Flora and Fauna guesthouse is located very close to the beach of Mirissa. The people were friendly and helpful, the breakfast was delicious and the rooms were comfy. We really enjoy our stay there and especially the nice view on the beach.

Hotel - Beautiful view, right next to the beach. We met the nicest people here, they helped us with everything we needed and beyond - trips, transport, covid testing...and with a smile on their face every time. Very nice room and great service. Food - Fresh fish and seafood every day, homemade juice, breakfast with the most delicious fruit a classic continental breakfast so everyone will be satisfied. Next time I wouldn't stay anywhere else.

Wow… a crisp vista from the high up (well air conditioned) room overlooking Mirissa beach. A beautiful, tasteful, functional stay in the very heart of Mirissa. Samantha and his wife run the guest house and provided us with endless smiles and merry cheer + tuktuk drivers and local tips! Great!

Wir haben hier zwei Tage verbracht und fanden die Unterkunft für unsere Bedürfnisse rundum gut. Die Gastgeber sind ausgesprochen liebenswürdig und hilfsbereit. Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig und sauber, der Kühlschrank funktionierte gut und es gab wenig Mücken, was sicher auch an den Bemühungen der Gastgeber lag - moscitocoils auf dem geräumigen Balkon und ein Gerät im Zimmer. Funktionierte sehr gut! Besonders hervorzuheben ist das fantastische Local Breakfast (auf Anfrage) und einen Abend Rice and Curry, in Absprache vegetarisch und etwas Fisch. Alles hervorragend gewürzt und frisch, wir waren sehr begeistert! Es gibt einen Supermarkt und einen Winestore ein Stück die Hauptstraße entlang, sowie ein Kottushop, der abends umlagert war; haben ihn aus Zeitgründen nicht selber probiert, scheint aber sehr gut zu sein! Strand ist 20 m entfernt, nur über die Straße. Die Stelzenrestaurants am Strand sind offenbar abgerissen worden. Das Angebot am Strand war ziemlich teuer und kein local food, Leute auf jeden Fall alle sehr freundlich. Insgesamt sind wohl noch sehr viele touristische Facilities geschlossen. Wir hatten jedenfalls eine sehr gute Zeit dort!

賓館最近在擴建主要道路旁邊的一棟建築。我們樓上的房間後面的花園(老招待所的一部分),雖然位置很安靜,除了夜間動物的聲音。房間有點小的但是簡單又實用,舒適的床上掛着蚊帳。陽台有看植物花園的好視角。浴室不是最近建的但很乾凈。早餐不包含在房費內,但是很美味大方。業主薩曼塔和他的妻子尼爾米非常友好和樂於助人。我們通過他們訂了賞鯨之旅,這是一個偉大的時刻,在三十人船上大約4小時的旅程。我們堅持尊重之旅,他們似乎遵守政府的規定。薩曼莎也幫我們叫出租車去下一個目的地。錢花的很值。

Located just across the road from the Main beach this place nestled in a grove was the best thing we picked. We walked in and were lucky to get a sea facing room with AC. The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and well done up with tea arrangements. A wonderful balcony faces the main beach of Mirissa. Nissan restaurant nearby on the beach was a great place for lunch. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place to anyone.

Spent a very disappointing night in this small hotel in the centre of Mirissa. The description of the room was nothing like the reality - the so called patio was part of the public reception area and the view of the garden was a view of a wall. The room was clean and had air conditioning but had no furniture apart from a bed, small table and fridge and was full of mosquitos, probably because a very dirty brackish river runs through the garden. The bathroom had a small high up widow onto the reception area which meant you could hear everything going on all night. My friend had booked a sea view room but was given a dark and dirty room in the garden. We decided not to have breakfast on site although it was included. The only good part was the man working on reception who did his best to help us.

Very Nice place! Friendly helpfull staff. Especially Pasan. Clean room, Nice breakfast. Recomend. Close to the Beach and restaurangs, yoga and massage. The jingel wiew for yoga and sekret root for massage and ayurveda doktor. Just Come here and you Will have à good time
