Tiny House in Authentic Japanese Koi Garden in Florida

Note: Self-service check-in. Check email/Expedia for pre- check-in info, including mandatory security deposit. Rooms ("tiny houses") are clean, spacious, well stocked for in-home cook/dine (no chopsticks though), and immersed in nature. Gardens have koi, parrots, fish, and a friendly cat. Very quiet; no events or classes hosted during our stay. HOWEVER, management is horrible. They rent out these houses on 2 websites, don't check for accidental double booking, provided us check-in information for the wrong house, and don't even live in the same country as their rental spaces! We only avoided walking in on a stranger in "our" rental space because the housekeeper told us this at point of arrival. We then had to wait outside in the mosquito-infested gardens (rental is close to the Everglades) for over an hour for this to be fixed, during which I got bit at least 6 times (and I'm horribly allergic to insect bites). I CANNOT recommend this place until management does better.

Used as a place to stay while visiting Everglades, Biscayne Nat'l Park, and Shark Valley. Convenient location and close to nearby shops and restaurants. Tranquil grounds and very well kept house and property. Birds, Koi, and Turtles and two outdoor cats kept us and our kid well occupied - this was really a unique property! House was clean with good amenities (induction stove, plates, silverware, microwave, good wifi). Communication with management was very good via ******* app. Would definitely stay again.

Clean, staff was kind, lovely gardens. Communication was a little challenging. They were responsive, but the messages didn’t load into the app in the normal way.
