位置不錯，離餐廳很近，床很舒服，衞生每天都有做，但前台那個女服務員不靠譜，開始説沒有我的訂單，後來又説要我付款。我説我已經付過了，後來經攜程網溝通，她就沒説什麼了。水不免費，要付費，還不便宜。

Vergane glorie, de omschrijving volgens de website, klopt van geen kant. Zou dit hotel nooit meer boeken. Er was alleen een restaurant voor het ontbijt met heel onvriendelijk personeel, dat geen woord Engels spreekt en ongeveer alles op tafel gooit. De receptie sprak zeer gebrekkig Engels, gaf bijna geen informatie over restaurantjes in de buurt, dus daar zelf om moeten vragen De kamers zijn klein, wc bril stuk, kleine badkamer. Uiteindelijk zijn we s avonds op weg naar het hotel, op een onvermijdelijk, donker stukje overvallen. Bij aankomst hotel had de receptioniste ( Lorraine) de politie moeten bellen maar ze reageerde alleen maar met “ oh no” Nooit meer!

Heerlijk rustig hotel net buiten de gezellige drukte van El Poblado. Goed toegerust, lekker ontbijt. Gastvrouw Lorena was enorm vriendelijk en gastvrij, sprak goed Engels en hielp ons met alles: toeristische tips, regelen van een taxi en alles.

Dit hotel is gelegen in de wijk El Poblado. Zeer rustige wijk. Omdat het hotel geen diner serveert, moet je 's avonds altijd op pad, dus mijn eerste vraag was, of het veilig was om 's avonds in het pikkedonker over staat te gaan. Daar werd positief op geantwoord. Let wel, in de richting van de restaurants, loop je bergaf, terug dus bergop. Dat vond ik persoonlijk een nadeel. Geen ontbijtbuffet, er worden wat gerechtjes geserveerd. Ei kan besteld worden. Kamer is ruim, badkamer wat aan de kleine kant. Douche geeft warm water.

This is a nice little hotel that feels like a home away from home.
The breakfast is great and the staff are friendly and accommodating.
I would stay here again.

I was only there for a week and I should’ve stayed longer. All of the staff was very nice and helpful and I speak very little Spanish but a few of the staff spoke English and google translator helped too. It’s in walking distance to restaurants, shops, whatever you need or a short cab or Uber ride. It’s not like a major hotel chain but I prefer that when I travel. They were very knowledgeable about Medellin and were concerned about me being safe. I would definitely stay there again!

Hotel without any particular character, it has an uncomfortable location in a residential area not close to bars and restaurants. Or better the distance is not great, 10-15 minutes on foot but the hotel itself recommends not to walk alone in the area, especially when it’s dark. Therefore it’s necessary to use a taxi. The room was average with ugly furniture, no complimentary water. Very few outlets, if you want to charge something you have to unplug either the tv or a lamp or both. There was a safe but unluckily I’m not tall enough to reach it… The bathroom was small but with a large shower with hot water and liquid soap dispenser. On the contrary for the wash basin there was a small soap that broke in pieces as soon as you touched it. Breakfast is good and you can choose to have, beside fruit and juice, eggs or granola with yogurt, or pancakes or sandwiches. No lift and I haven’t seen rooms on the ground floor, I’m not sure it’s suitable for people with motility problems. Wifi is good. The staff is kind but you have to ask to clean the room if you want it to be done.

The courtyard is gorgeous, the staff were friendly and helpful, the breakfast menu was great and the food was delicious, and the vibe was very safe and peaceful. Our room was very small, but this ended up being okay because we were out often and the weather was clear, so we could sit out in the courtyard/dining area.
