We would like have more cleaning service in the hotel and better cuisine also ☺️

Thank you for giving us a Phenomenal Honeymoon Well, where do I start? We visited Maritim Resort & Spa for 2 weeks in May for our Honeymoon, what can I say! THE best two weeks at this amazing resort. We flew direct with BA, and upon arrival at the Maritim after a long travel day, our cases were taken and we were presenting with a lovely drink and cold towel. Very spacious Deluxe Plus room (Room 434) (We had booked a Deluxe, but the Hotel quietly upgraded us which was lovely) this was a fantastic room with a Sea View. Lots of space, an amazingly comfy bed, large shower and free standing bath, walk in wardrobe and a lounge area. Lovely touch of a free hat, wine, fruit and flowers too. The grounds are absolutely stunning! We passed beautiful gardens and flowers. Maritim have a well looked after Animal Sanctuary for Horses, Dogs, Rabbits, and some amazing Turtles from the Seychelles. We passed a staff member along the way and he was more than happy to spend some time with us, discussing the welfare of the animals, the history of the hotel and so forth. We did comment that it is such a shame that the access to the beautiful waterfalls could be a little tricky for some people and they would miss out on seeing something so good on the actual grounds of the hotel! You do have to “Scramble” across some large rocks / foliage, if you did have mobility issues this would be an issue. Also, it is not signposted well, so you almost have to listen to the noise of the falls to find it. Definitely something for the hotel to consider in our opinion. We visited the Spa and had a couples massage, this was very nice and we would recommend. We spent every day on resort at the Beach, we would also recommend water shoes too. We had some fantastic days Snorkelling and seen an array of fish. Even seen a couple of Lion Fish (BEWARE!) We tried the Kayak’s, Paddle Board and Pedallo, these were all free. The gentleman down the boathouse were great. Boats might need a little upgrade in the not too distant future but were perfectly fine and lifejackets provided. We also made use of the free glass bottom boat ride, you book this at the boat house and lasts an hour. I would give 24-48 hours’ notice as it does get booked up, Every time we picked a knife and fork up, the quality of food and service was exceptional, apart from probably one, we really enjoyed the Lobster night, although this was payable but well worth it. The Buffet restaurant was really good with lots of choice and everything was Hot. La Maree was AMAZING, and by far our favourite. The BBQ restaurant was a nice change with great quality if a little short of choice. Unfortunately the one and only time we visited the Asian, this was not to our liking. The Food was “Ok” but not a patch on any of the other places in our opinion. We did the Romantic meal on the beach for 995 Rupees. A 5 star experience! We had a great time and the staff were so friendly and helpful which helped to make our stay unforgettable. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they made so much effort to make us feel welcome and special. Particular thanks to Kavita, Thierry and Rakesh. The rooms were large, clean and air conditioned with minibar, tea/coffee making facilities. The setting of the hotel is beautiful, with soft sandy beaches, a golf course, gym, bars and restaurants. All the meals were superb whether it's the casual buffet or a la carte restaurants. We will definitely come back!

I CAN ONLY SAY THAT BARTENDER NIS WAS THE ONLY ACTIVITY I ENJOYED WITH HIS AMAZING COCKTAILS AND SKILLS!! The hotel overvies was amaing and the place is good but as I said NIS was amazing and he tried hus best to accomodate our needs amd he was also fast

My husband and I recently spent 10 days at the Maritim to celebrate our silver wedding anniversary and can honestly say it was the holiday of a lifetime. From the moment we arrived we experienced the most fabulous service, the welcome was excellent and the guest manager who net with us took a great deal of time to explain the resort and our AI package. We had a fabulous sea facing room. Every member of staff we came into contact with could not do enough for us and the desire to deliver excellent service was natural and genuine. The food in all the restaurants was superb and although, apart from the Belle Vue, it is a credit of a set amount, this well covers the majority of meals and drinks are free. I would recommend eating in the Chateau....a fantastic fine dining and memorable experience. It can be as pricey as you want it to be but is well worth it. The pool service and beach service again excellent with water being provided for guests as well as pool service drinks and cocktails. The cocktail menu is great, would recommend the Swimming Pool or Planters Punch. Make sure you enjoy the water sports, most are free and easily available. Jet skis could be cheaper and maybe attract more users. The ladies in Guest Services are always on hand to give excellent advice and happily arrange restaurant bookings etc...and make you feel special by always remembering your name. All in all we gad the best time on this holiday and felt truly spoiled and envious of those of you who have a holiday here still to come!

Nice property with many facilities such as animal farm, ruins, etc... Special thanks to Melina and Mrs Cherina from Reception for the great welcome and service. Food was great and was always kept clean. We enjoyed every bit of our day package. See you soon!!

Maritim exceeded our expectations. I was told that the place was not worth it. However, I can firmly say that this hotel is worth it all. I’ve stayed in many hotels throughout Mauritius, mostly 5 star ones, and I can confirm that the hospitality and service you receive from the staffs is one of a kind. The staffs are so welcoming and friendly. The rooms are always kept clean. I was there for a 4 day stay with the family and we opted for the Suites and Junior Suites. Both were so spacious and well maintained. The hotel also provides a wide range of activities to keep you entertained throughout your stay. Some of the activities include stand up paddle, glass bottom boat trips, pedal boats, water ski, kayaking where you can even access the river leading to the Ruins of Balaclava, Archery, mini golf, outdoor gym and even horse riding. The hotel also host a small farm where they care for horses, ponies, dogs, tortoises and more. You can also access the Ruins of Balaclava by foot and enjoy a lunch at its restaurant or even dinner. The hotel has 7 restaurants and 6 bars. I was able to go to only 3 of them and the experience was just as good. The staff were very nice and helpful. The food tasted great. I do recommend having a look at the menus before reservations since some people may have different preferences. The buffet is not as big as but all the foods are delicious. The Spa is a MUST. The price might seem a bit high but it’s worth every penny. You are given access to changing rooms with individual lockers. The changing rooms come with showers and a sauna. Within the Spa you also have another Sauna and relaxation pool which you can use at any time before or after your treatment. Hema made sure that I had a wonderful experience. The service was exceptional. We are also very grateful for Jenistha. She provided an excellent service from us booking our stay to us leaving the hotel premises. The care provided to us was very much appreciated. We are looking forward to booking another stay in the near future and most definitely more afterwards.

This was my first international trip with my 2 year old daughter. Could not have asked for a better resort. The hospitality experienced was out of this world. Every person we came accross working at the resort was so kind friendly, hard working and welcoming. Always assisting and accommodating us in order to make our trip pleasant especially with a toddler. We are grateful for the early check in after arriving at the hotel that Mr Manoj Mungur and his front desk assistant Neil arranged for us as our toddler was exhausted post traveling. The variety of food available is really a game changer. Endless options for everyone's taste. Tasty food and a variety of restaurant options to choose from. A personal favorite was the BBQ restaurant. The room was spacious and clean! The views at the resort are stunning and no words can do them justice! The facilities are extensive. Variety of options for all ages. Our daughter enjoyed going to the animal park at the resort. She enjoyed playtime at the kids club - run by a very pleasant lady. The pools and beaches are heavenly. A definite must stay. Overall a wonderful experience.

We had Absolutely fantastic stay at Maritim hotel! We had junior suite room which was spacious, well decorated and very clean. We had a half board as we usually travel during the day and it was perfect! They have quite few restaurant to choose from we managed to dine in 4 of them and the food was absolutely divine. There is lots of Activities you can do some are included and for some you need to pay a bit extra but there is always something to do. We absolutely loved the little farm, especially the tortoise ❤️ Beach area was absolutely amazing. Plenty of space and service at the sunbeds too. And the best part is all the staff members!! They are all super nice and nothing is a problem. We loved Kavita, Namarq, Paolo and many more unfortunately we can’t remember all the names. But credit to all you staff as they make the place super special. Thank you all for an amazing stay and we hope to come back one day ❤️
