A hidden gem, located in the quaint little beachtown Portinatx. There's a small private beach right next to the hotel, and many scenic viewpoints walking distance. Loved exploring the north of the island! The hotel staff was warm and welcoming :)

Habia reformas en la recepcion del hotel y el olor a pintura era un poco desagradable, pero lo peor fue la habitacion, se veia con mucha falta de mantenimiento, portarollos roto, no funcionaba el enchufe del lavabo y lo peor, una enorme mancha de humedad en el techo de la habitación.
Lo mejor el personal, siempre atento a ayudar, pero el hotel necesita muchos cuidados.

Старый, в хорошем смысле, отель. Небольшой, уютный. В отеле только завтрак. Для ужина дают ваучер в ресторан, расположенный в 10 минутах ходьбы. Остановка метро в 200 метрах. До центра Порто 40 минут езды. Пляж в километре. Рядом множество магазинов различного назначения.

El hotel tanto por dentro como por fuera es muy bonito. Pero las habitaciones....para lo que cuestan realmente, esperábamos otra cosa. Lo que te enseñan en las fotos no tiene nada que ver con la realidad Habitación minúscula, baño enano, la tapa de la taza del váter estaba suelta, los enchufes daba miedo enchufar nada, las camas son pequeñas (si mides más de 1'70 cm duermes con los pies fuera de la cama), la TV no funcionaba, la limpieza...pelos de otras personas en la habitación y el baño...!!! Había dos recepcionistas, un chico y una chica, él nos ayudó bastante pero ella...no sabía ni dónde estaba el parking del hotel (al lado) no tenía idea de muchas cosas. La verdad que una pésima estancia. Se salva que está cerca de la playa.

Que escaleras tan increíbles tienen. Habitaciones quizás un poco antiguas pero geniales en espacio y atención, el personal de 10 y un buen desayuno, si vuelvo por Matosinhos, volveré a este hotel. Bien ubicado.

We enjoyed our brief stay at Hotel Porto Mar. Although the room was a bit small for two people, it was perfectly located. Near the airport, many restaurants and a beautiful stretch of beach. The service was great, bathroom was super clean and the area was very relaxing. We loved that breakfast was included too, very nice touch.
