去霍比特村的當晚留宿了瑪塔瑪塔這家汽車旅館，很不錯，超級乾淨，房東親自講解屋內的開關、遙控器位置等等，還會拖鞋進入你的房間，超級尊重，周圍還有個小小公園，有桌椅、自己整了頓bbq，美死咯

貌似叫旅館的，第一反應就是住宿條件一定很差，我們是自駕遊新西蘭，所以都是每天換一個住所，沒想到這個叫旅館的，比之前的奧克蘭一個酒店各方面都強。房間很大，也很衞生。雖然不提供早餐，但是有廚房，走出去不遠處就有個很大的超市，想吃什麼可以買回來自己做。

We were greeted warmly and had a great night’s stay! My room was just a bedroom, kitchenette & bath while my friends had a little suite with a very spacious & comfy sitting room. And only a :10 drive to Hobbiton for our tour the next AM. Highly recommend!

Great place to stay and would definitely recommend and stay there again. Very friendly and happy host. Took us to our room and showed us around which is quite unusual these days. Room was spotless, had everything we needed. Super comfy beds and pillows. Fantastic and spacious bathroom. The best one of our two weeks in NZ. Wished we could have stayed a couple more nights!

We have stayed here twice now and could not recommend enough. The units are immaculate and roomy. Ample towels etc are provided and the people are very friendly and accomodating. Very reasonably priced for such a comfortable stay

Disabled shower meant bathroom floor completely flooded, as floor was not angled, we had to use all the towels to try and dry to stop from slipping over when finished showering. Beds are two singles pushed together, meaning large lump in the middle was not comfortable, definitely not suitable for couples unless they like sleeping on opposite sides of the bed. Got woken by a cleaner at 8am barging in, no knocking at all. This was the final straw. Check out isn't till 10am, so was no need to come in so early. The door was still locked, she just unlocked walked in, saw I was there, said she thought we had left, despite car in car park & walked out again.

Wayne, our host, was very welcoming and we had a very pleasant stay in this Motel. The quality of our room was exceptional! If you need a place to stay in Matamata, look no further! It’s very well located and there are plenty of restaurants to choose from in the area!

The rooms are clean and comfortable. The grounds are well maintained and cared for. The staff are lovely and helpful. The location is great and within easy walking distance to shops. Definitely the best motel in Matamata.
