This is a very quaint , comfortable, clean motel. Staff are fantastic rooms are clean, the motel is within walking distance of all facilities. Close to the road to Hervey Bay so an easy commute when you stay in this motel. It’s quiet beds are great has a microwave to heat up a meal if that’s what you wish to do, a great affordable motel in a prime location.

Clean and comfortable…..what more could one want. Aged yes, but so many of these affordable motels are. A very pleasant night at a reasonable price. An even level walk to a local pub for a nice pub meal topped off our stay.

Very good place for an overnight stay. The room was clean and comfortable.
But the best thing about the Maryborough City Motel is the people who run it. They are truly passionate about hospitality, and it shows in the way they treat their guests. We felt like we were really welcome there, and we would definitely stay there again.

Great check. I believe the motel is renovating the rooms but unfortunately the room we had was old and tired. Clean and a comfortable bed. The road noise was consistent throughout the night.

Friendly staff, good parking, close to most things in Maryborough. Rooms a little noisey from the traffic. Rooms a little out dated but kept clean. Fast check in.

If I was going to just base this review on the customer service ... the people running this would be close to a perfect score. They were friendly and amazing. Sadly it's not just about the customer service for this motel... 1. The rooms do look dated from outside and in... they have added a ***** of blue to it to brighten the building up.. but it's still in need of a bit more 2. The tables next to the bed - you can't use them because of the design of the lamps. . 3. The artwork is ghastly and jarring, but... it's in the eye of the beholder, right? 4. The walls are very thin and I unfortunately could hear word for word a phone conversation in the next room. I heard both sides of the animated and tragic conversation. 5. There is traffic noise- BUT it is next to a main road so you would expect that 6. The beddding- mattress and pillows are dreadful. If they did nothing else but upgrade these, it would be hitting on all cylinders for most people. I regretted paying for two nights. Only I can be held accountable for that mistake. But I feel with the people running it being so good that this might be one to watch... I think they have plans to fix this place up.
