One of the best hotels in the world in terms of service, facilities and food. La Mamounia is so rich in culture and heritage that there is a unique story in every part of the hotel. We visited the Royal Mansour and other 5 star establishments but nothing compares to the warmth and hospitality of the staff at this hotel. A truly remarkable experience and our only disappointment was the lack of time to further explore the various restaurants, cinema, activities area, ****** and wine cellar. Will definitely be back.

een van de belangrijkste klachten is het wachten bij het inchecken, aan de bar, we vroegen om hangers die we nooit hebben gehad. Voor de prijs zijn er veel betere

Een prachtig hotel met ongelooflijke service. Een magisch zwembad, prachtige tuinen, ongelooflijke restaurants. Het enige nadeel: je wordt behandeld op basis van het aantal keren dat je naar Mamounia bent gekomen. Als u nieuw bent, erft u de minst goed gelegen kamers en zal de service soms ongelijkmatig zijn.

De essentie van een vergrijzende hotelindustrie! Donkere kamer (nummer 17) om zelfs mijn garage met meer licht absoluut te vermijden! Bezoekers in slippers/sokken op alle verdiepingen!! En je wordt door de bedienden met een baby verdrongen als een lid van de koninklijke familie arriveert, onder de verdwaasde ogen van een hotelmanager naar het beeld van zijn etablissement: ouderwets.
Het enige belang is om iets te gaan drinken op deze mythische plek en te ontsnappen naar een van de uitstekende etablissementen die vandaag de dag in Marrakech bestaan!!!!

Staying here is an experience. A heritage hotel with an amazing history. Both interior and exterior are superb. The staff are excellent as are facilities.
It is expensive but you have to pay for quality

While the hotel was beautiful and the spa treatments amazing, which we enjoyed, thr service and room issue wasn't up to par for this type of hotel.
There were many staff who were kind and helpful. The laundry service was quick too. HOWEVER, upon check in we didn’t receive clear information about the hotel, showm around, etc like many nice hotels and thr concierge was not clear how cloae in walking distance the nice area of Guelliz or the Koutobia was to the hotel and we had wasted a lot of extra time taxi around. We even asked if it was just across the way and they said no but upon leaving for the airport we saw due to the route thr driver took that it was all right there. As guests that should have been shown on the map or made clear especially when we asked.
The bigger issue though was plumbing problems upon check in. Coming off an international flight and having issues with both bath and then shower so maintenance came twice to fix within first 24hrs was highly inconvenient and poor treatment as a guest in such a grand hotel. No compensation was offered until i mentioned it and they sent up an apology note and bottle of wine i cant drink (he never checked first or offered to just comp a meal or some cocktails we put to the room). The worst part was that the head of guest relations, didn’t comprehend the issue fully since it was fixed. He instead gave a bag with. heavy diffuser when we're heading to the airport. Ridiculous & cheap response for this hotel.

Wow for a lack of better word. The La Mamounia experience has been unparalleled. From moment of check in to checkout, everyone was so kind and always trying to help. The restaurants were superb and the Sunday brunch was exquisite. The tours were comfortable and spot on to what we wanted to do. All recommendations for outside the hotel were also spot on. We had the most memorable time. We will definitely be back!
We must give a shout out to Marouane, the guest relations manager. He greeted us by name each time he saw us and always inquired how we were doing and if there was anything he could do. We were very well looked after. Nothing was too much to ask for. Thank you Marouane!
