"We had an absolutely magical stay here. This was our fifth property on a 12 day safari and by far our favorite. We received a friendly, genuine greeting by Chris, the manager, and the other staff. The tents were spacious, comfortable and immaculately clean. It was wonderfully cool and quiet at night. We saw elephants from our front porch! All of the meals were incredible. Chief Edwin served up inventive, fresh and delicious food. He was also very gracious and friendly - routinely interacting with all of the guests. He even shared a recipe with us and made a surprise, special cake for our wedding anniversary. We hadn’t told anyone about it but our guide heard us talking and orchestrated this surprise. Our every need was attended by Koisa. He was such a nice person and an excellent waiter being very attentive but unobtrusive. We were also blessed to have Francis as our guide for game drives. He has a great understanding of the area and helped us see so many different animals such as hippos, lions, cheetahs, and a leopard. He is very patient and encouraged us to be as well to great effect. He is another great person that we hope to meet again. On a bucket list trip, this was the pinnacle."

"Wonderful experience in the Maasai Mara! William (the camp manager) and all the staff were incredibly welcoming, helpful, and attentive. We went on a lovely bush walk in the conservancy where we got a good idea of the lay of the land. On our safari into the Maasai Mara National Reserve, our guides from Kandili expertly traversed the park and found us some exceptional encounters with the park’s wildlife. At the camp, the food was excellent, the location for meal times was beautiful, including a bonfire for dinner time and the accommodation was comfortable and clean. If we are ever in this area of Kenya again we will certainly be returning customers! Asante sana, Kandili Camp!"

"Het kamp ligt mooi gelegen aan de rivier waar een grote groep nijlpaarden continu zwemt, speelt, chillt en graast. De krokodillen komen aan land, bavianen lopen er rond. Kortom er is altijd wat te zien en te bekijken. Het kamp zelf is absoluut keurig. Mooie tent, met lekker bed, mooi gelegen en heerlijk rustig. Het eten was echt goed en de service geweldig. Job heeft ons enorm in de watten gelegd en de verjaardag van mijn vriend perfect geregeld, inclusief verjaardagstaart. De gids tijdens de safaris, zorgde voor de goede plekken bij de dieren, maar maakte zich er wat makkelijk vanaf. Dat werd helemaal duidelijk tijdens de laatste dag toen we een andere chauffeur kregen, die vol enthousiasme en passie over zelfs de kleinste dieren vertelde. Top! Een kleine kanttekening, in andere Afrikaanse landen zoals zuid Afrika en Botswana is het niveau van safari’s en de kampen echt hoger dan in Kenia."

"We had the most incredible stay at Kandili Camp. We were greeted at the airport by George and Moses who were so lovely and welcoming, and were our guides for the duration of our stay. Their expertise and passion led us to some absolutely incredible experiences with the wildlife!!! In terms of the camp itself, the location is prime - situated close to the Maasai Mara Reserve. The tents had everything we needed, and were so gorgeous opening to views of the conservancy! And the food was just delicious, thanks to Chef Solomon! The team at Kandili go above and beyond to take care of you, and they are such kind people! Joel, the fabulous camp manager, even played a round of Scrabble with us on one stormy afternoon. I cannot recommended Kandili Camp enough!"
