I was a little skeptical about staying here, but didn't regret it one bit. I had learned that the hotel had gone through recent renovations and so decided to give it a try. The hotel was nice and the staff was super friendly. Big bonus here was the Mexican restaurant. Great place to eat especially if you don't feel like venturing out anywhere.

I checked out in under 5 minutes due to bugs in the room. The manager was very rude and unhelpful he threatened to call the police on me for asking for a refund. All wooden surfaces have not been wiped down in quite some time, significant dust build up, the lighting in the room is likely intentionally minimal so you can’t see how unclean everything is.

Terrible Hotel they where renovating . Had a Starbuck's printed sign 4 Keurig machines and not Starbuck's pod's. Coffee was not lacated win the same place as the Keurig machines. Refrigerator in room was very noisy Room # 217. No Breakfast restraunt is Mexican not even open until I think 11am. Missing tile by the toilet paint on the door. Lock's don't on the upper part. Small soap and shampoo for big people 3oz. No cup's or ice pail or coffeemaker in the room. The only thing that was good was the shower pressure and comfort of the bed.

No water at all for hours at a time. Manager said it was normal!! Sweet front desk lady had her hands full. Couldn't shower at bedtime or before 8am. Did get bottles of water to brush teeth and make coffee tho. Won't ever go back, says renovations are coming but the water was already done so be warned and just don't go!

ANTS, ANTS, ANTS!!! Beware! This hotel is nothing like it was! We stayed last month and noticed how rundown it had gotten, but had no idea that our room would be infested with ANTS!! We have video and photos - floor, dresser, desk, luggage, even on the bed. The hotel manager was not available but the front desk worker showed no surprise or caring. The bar manager said someone would get back to us. We received a call and were told we'd get an email. That email stated we'd hear back the next day, that was over 1 month ago. Since then we filed a Paypal dispute for our room charges. Paypal advised us that Park Hospitality agreed to pay the amount. Paypal gave them 15 days but it was never paid. We tried to file a BBB (Better Business Bureau) dispute but were told that this hotel must have closed down, as the BBB has received returned mail stating they are no longer in business. (We will post a review on the BBB site today as well). We understand that a hotel chain has stepped in, but the Park Hospitality staff and website are 100% still open and active. They are not closed. Management is uncaring and trust us, if you need even towels, a trash bag, a light changed that flickered, ant spray, toilet paper, a working shower drain, good luck! They do not treat their veterans right. Shame on you Park Hospitality management. Where's our refund? Next step, to contact the prospective, soon to be new owner chain, DoubleTree corporate.

This was by far the worst experience I've ever had. The front desk clerk was too busy on her cell phone to take care of guest. She didn't acknowledge my friend's presence while waiting to check in. She was on her cell phone for 10 minutes and would not take care of her and the people behind her. They had my rates wrong for all the rooms I reserved by $29/each per day. No water in the morning, when front desk was asked for a bottle of water to brush teeth...they said water is $2 a bottle! Three of the people I stayed with had to change rooms because they were so dirty and smelled. Another person was given a key to a room that housekeeping hadn't been in. Manager of the hotel is extremely rude and egotistical. Cook was dirty, rude and condescending. I have one guest that travels all the time and his statement was "this is by far the worst hotel I've ever stayed at because of the people working it"! We paid for the w/breakfast option for our rooms and the restaurant was closed both days because of the water being shut off.

Although there was plenty of free parking, it was not real close. The handicapped parking was pretty far away. Service at the front desk was outstanding. Nice lobby. I use an electric wheelchair, but our room was on the third floor My wife has walking issues. but the room was really far from the entrance. The door was so narrow that it damaged the padding on wheelchair as we entered. The room itself was small and rather tired but comfortable enough. No free breakfast. Our stay was good but not great.

I stayed at alot of hotels, best place ever! friendliest employees they were very accommodating. Laura at front desk was very accommodating and Kathy at the bar was very very nice. they opened early for the Ohio State game along with the kitchen! it was so awesome. lobby the lobby is decorated with Christmas and it's very welcoming!

Stopped here with my wife and kids as we were taking a canoe trip at Mohican. I booked thinking we would have a typical hotel breakfast and let the kids swim in the evening. This place isn’t a dump, but is headed in that direction. The pool is closed. I think it’s been closed for months and probably won’t be opening any time soon. No free breakfast. They do have a restaurant but it doesn’t look like anyone eats there. Ever. There are signs everywhere saying don’t trash us online, give us a chance to make it right. I let them know breakfast and the pool were the only reason I booked. They told me they would give me 10k IHS points. Ok, good enough. Except they didn’t. I called three times over the next two weeks. They gave me 1k points and I gave up. Also there seems to be a fair amount of homeless people hanging out around the hotel. Mansfield, in a general sense, looks run down and dilapidated. Like they still haven’t recovered from the 1980’s offshoring of manufacturing jobs. This hotel was probably great 40 years ago. My advice is to keep looking and not to waste ur time/money on this sinking ship.
