Everything about our stay was wonderful. The Inn is historic and beautiful, the welcome warm and thorough, the room super comfortable, very well equipped and beautifully decorated. Breakfasts are delicious and the day-long available tea and coffee, welcome cookies and included bottled water are much appreciated. We will definitely stay at the Inn again on any return trip to the Manchester area.

This Inn was stunningly decorated, extremely clean, warm and inviting, and the service was second to none. Maryann greeted us when we arrived and got us settled in our room. Her and Jack took such good care of us and made sure we felt at home. The breakfast was by far the best French toast I've ever had, hands down. I can't wait to come back with my wife again for a special night away. The Jacuzzi tub and 2 sided fireplace in the Anne Eliza room were just perfect. Couldn't recommend this Inn enough

For a wonderful historic bed and breakfast look no further than The Inn at Ormsby Hill in Manchster Vermont. We chose this from their website looking for history, ambience, and lovely inn keepers, and that's just what we found. Online, look at the rooms. We chose the Ann Eliza room, with a four poster bed (super comfortable) and a dual sided fireplace. The breakfast served in the pretty dining room just off a sitting room with fireplace was delicious, cooked by Mr. Orlando. His wife Mary Ann was hands on and attention to detail. Down the road is Hildene. vermont and Manchester in particular will forever be on your getaway list.

The Inn at Ormsby Hill is a beautiful, historic inn run by a very friendly husband and wife duo, Jack and MaryAnn. Built in 1764, it teems with history. We loved it here and you will too! We stayed in the Library, which was Edward Isham’s personal library and contains many books from his collection. It’s a beautiful place.

Excellent in every way. Our room was beautiful with high quality bedding with every item needed for a most enjoyable stay. There are small but appreciated items. The first floor area is gorgeous and beautifully decorated for Christmas. The breakfasts are delicious. Jack and MaryAnne are excellent managers. They are very responsive to your every need and show a genuine desire to please their guests.

the Inn has the best home feeling I have ever experienced. Jack and Maryanne are wonderful hosts and as a result the other guests are friendly, warm and outgoing. Jack and Maryanne have the BEST Christmas decorations. We went and viewed The Inn at Woodstock, The Equinox and Taconic. Hands down The Inn at Ormsby Hill is the best

Absolutely beautiful Inn! So well cared for and spotlessly clean! A bit of old Vermont for you to experience. Maryann and Jack are superb hosts who are friendly and informative. The Inn was decorated for Christmas and was just perfect. You wil enjoy all of the public and private fireplaces as well as some rooms with spa/whirlpool tubs. The Inn is on Route 7a with easy access to anywhere and right in the shadow of Mount Equinox. Go soon and enjoy your stay!!
