Hotel Querceto Wellness & Spa - Garda Lake Collection

We chose this venue for our wedding because of the beautiful setting and facilities. We wanted to accommodate family and friends too. The staff go above and beyond to accommodate any requests, especially Valentina who was informative and communicative throughout the months leading up to our big day as well as during our stay and for the wedding day itself. The manager, Luca, was exceptional in making us feel welcome and nothing was too much trouble. The facilities were explained on the day of arrival and check in was simple and quick which was welcoming as we arrived very late. The rooms were decorated to a high standard and were very clean and comfortable, they also smelt fresh and amazing. Towels, robes, slippers and flip flops were provided as is stated on their website. We had the most amazing view of the lake from our balcony which is one of the biggest selling points of this hotel. Family members booked to use the spa, which included a steam room, sauna, ritual shower and jacuzzi. There is also an outside sauna that looks over the lake, which is out of this world. There is also an outdoor jacuzzi overlooking the lake but this was cold so we didn’t use it, maybe because it was out of season. The garden is well kept and clean and a great place to just relax and switch off. The hotel offer a shuttle bus service to the nearby town which was very much appreciated and used by us all as the town is a beautiful place to visit. Our wedding day here was the best that we could ever wish for, amazing food, attention to detail and again, nothing too much trouble. The hotel is a spectacular place to stay and worthy of its 4* (the only downside, was that the coffee in the rooms has to be drunk from a paper cup, we would prefer proper mugs or tea cups). A lovely hotel with a stunning view of Lake Garda and the mountains opposite. Staff were very helpful answering questions before we went and during our stay and really made us feel welcome. There is a free shuttle bus that goes back and forth 3 times per day to Malcesine which is very useful and driven by another helpful member of staff. Hotel Querceto is a brilliant base to explore Lake Gards and we had amazing trips to Limone , using the ferry , and to Mount Balde using the gondola. The hotel and grounds are lovely and the pool is especially pretty with lovely views. There is a really good snack bar next to the pool that serves , Pizzas, snacks and drinks. When the sun was out it was a lovely experience to sunbathe and swim. The weather was mixed and we had two days of heavy constant rain. Please check if there is a wedding planned at the hotel before you book as the wedding combined with a wet day meant that all of the facilities were closed to guests on the day. This was the only criticism on an otherwise lovely stay. We would definitely recommend it. We would also recommend Trattoria Campiano next door which gave us a lovely alternative to evening meals. We would also recommend Ristorante Pizzeria Italia da Nikolas next to the harbour which serves great pizzas at a reasonable rate.

Beautiful hotel, beautiful resort staff amazing unfortunately unfriendly to the English people as it was swamped with Germans who were unfriendly obnoxious and self entitled- they would literally take over the sunbeds around you have conversations over the top of your head lean on your sunbed take all of the self service breakfast drink the bar dry- felt so sorry for the staff who worked there as they were trying their hardest

Wow! What a place! Visited for a friends Wedding on the 14th September and stayed for the weekend! The food, the place, the service - everything was excellent. Special mention has to go to Luca and Valentine who could not do enough for us and just made everything so easy and wonderful and our friends had the perfect wedding! Literally, nothing was too much trouble, they even loved my dog Ringo!! But I expect they love everyone's dogs. Really need to arrange another visit there and use all the spa facilities etc - two days with a wedding was not enough to enjoy everything they offer! Thank you x

Tranquil beauty. Peaceful hideaway with a touch of luxury. Our stay was a real special treat. From the hotel design, to the spa facilities, to the views and to the staff....it was all a touch of class. Thanks to Pete, Massimo, Valentina and all the staff. This is a really unique hotel with an amazing view and friendly staff. The breakfast is so good! We ate in the restaurant once and the food was delicious. The outdoor spa is a really great asset to the hotel and the pool area was lovely too. It’s a very steep walk into the town and if you want to walk there and back it’s probably not the hotel for you. There is a shuttle bus which we used once but there are only a few times a day. Only real negative was the noise of doors banging shut in the mornings. It kind of takes away from the relaxing environment that they have created.
