De voormalige regering eigendom van 'ITDC Hotel' dat werd gekocht door de GRT-groep en meer dan 20 jaar geleden werd gerenoveerd volgens moderne normen en nu ongeveer 8 jaar wordt gerund door de Radisson Group.
De kamers, faciliteiten, enz. beginnen allemaal hun leeftijd te vertonen, vooral in vergelijking met de nieuwere 'InterContinental Resort' en 'Sheraton Resort'
De service bij Radisson Temple Bay is ook een allegaartje, veel van het personeel moet waarschijnlijk beter worden omgeschoold (huishouding, enz.)
Het eten en de service in zowel hun restaurants 'Wharf' (aan zee, wat een must is om te proberen) als hun Coffee Shoo 'Waters Edge' zijn beide goed.

The stay was disappointing. Breakfast section was a mess. House keeping was average. There weren’t enough napkins and face towels in the room. Food was consistently below average. The pool that was by the sea was poorly kept. For the experience and amenities they offer the hotel is terribly overpriced. It was more like a 3-star resort and not 5-star like advertised

It is really a good resort in the heart of city where you can visit all the famous heritage sites within the vicinity of 3 km
Food taste is really good in the in house restaurants, spa facilities are really good
Pool view chalets are also very spacious though are basic category
just outside the room there was large pool and you can enjoy and relax just outside
Overall a very good experience for all age groups families and couples

One of the best resorts in Mahabalipuram. We stayed there for 2 days and it was worth it. There are so ***y activities to do. But the highlight is the rooms. We stayed in room 58. Very big and spacious. Some have balconies. The housekeeping staff is very courteous and responds proactively and incorporates all requests. We had swans made out of towels and rose petals on our bed. We did not ask for it, it was just there. I am especially mentioning the our staff's name, Mr. Arghya because he came in for regular check ups. I went and asked for his name before writing this. 10/10 for the service

The stay at all Radisson properties were always good. Specially Mahabalipuram is one of the nicest property. The staff is quite friendly with special mention of Arghya. Thanks team Radisson for once again wonderful hospitality and beautiful experience!!

I found room cleaniness and arrangement very good. My room number is 58 where view from balcony is amazing. Room service is quick and fantastic. Thanks to Arghya for all support during my stay. I would recommend to get experience atleast once.

This note is so fantastic - I almost don’t know what to say. Everything was perfect! The room was spacious & spotlessly clean. The food was excellent. The staff were excellent. The amenities were excellent! Two gorgeous pools & a lovely beach. I only wish we could have stayed longer!

What I will write, that's not enough. House Keeper Mr. Avijit has been done marvelous job. Everyday he given two times service without fail. Room was very neat and clean. I followed to say always 'Vanakkam' with smile. Actually he knows hospitality behaviour. I will tell others come and feel hospitality magic. Weldone Avijit, go ahead.

We had an excellent time at the resort. The good amenities contributed to the peaceful atmosphere. The employees were really kind and considerate, especially Shivam from housekeeping. Eager for a return visit. All in all, we had a fantastic time and it was a beautiful experience.
