There is no any window in the mini room. Sound insulation is very poor. The location is perfect.

Well-maintained but old — feels like we stepped into another decade.
The room was small but if you’re only looking for a comfortable place to sleep, with private bathroom and quiet, you are in luck. It’s quite reasonably priced for what you get. It’s not the Hilton but you aren’t paying Hilton prices.
Easily walk to Plaza Major, Prado, Palace, shopping areas, innumerable restaurants & bars, it’s very convenient.
Your taxi can’t quite make it there due to the pedestrian zone, but it’s a few hundred meters only, flat and easy to find.

Excellent located, cant find any thing in a better spot than that Hostal. Not fancy but clean and very affordable. Recommended.

It was clean and the AC was a big plus. The hostel is pretty central-ish which is convenient but with that also comes the noise from the outside popular street. The staff did not know any english but that was not an issue with the communication. There was an issue with their access cards but they fixed it swiftly and gave us new ones. Overall a positive experience for the price.
