Ibis Budget Madrid Centro Las Ventas

Een comfortabel en goed gelegen hotel, ontbijt, hoewel niet goedkoop, is gevarieerd.

Eenvoudig hotel maar dat on**oet perfectie. Kamer met wat nodig is, het heeft ook parkeergelegenheid, maar als u vroeg aankomt, kunt u zonder veel moeite in de buurt parkeren. Naast een directe metrohalte die je in 10 minuten in Sol brengt. Zeer goede optie, in de omgeving zijn er ook bars en restaurants.

Geen verrassingen, ik heb al eerder in een Ibis Budget verbleven, ik wist wat ik kon vinden en wat ik leuk vond, het is een uitstekende prijs-kwaliteitverhouding. Het hotel is goed gelegen, in hetzelfde blok als het metrostation Ventas, waardoor het heel gemakkelijk is om door de stad te reizen. Er is ook een Carrefour naast de deur als je iets wilt kopen. Het ontbijt is gevarieerd en zeker de moeite waard. Het personeel was vriendelijk en beleefd.

De locatie is goed, gemakkelijke toegang tot het metrostation, de kamer was schoon en het personeel is super aardig en behulpzaam. Ik raad deze plek ten zeerste aan voor familie of als je met een groep vrienden reist.

Het hotel heeft het potentieel om beoordelingen van 4 of zelfs 5 sterren te krijgen, maar bij deze gelegenheid moest ik slechts 3 sterren beoordelen vanwege het volgende: Ik heb online ingecheckt en om 2 extra kussens in de kamer gevraagd. Toen ik eenmaal bij de receptie was, moest ik alles opnieuw inchecken. De sleutels waren niet klaar zoals ze op hun website zeggen als je online incheckt. Verzoeken van klanten waren niet beschikbaar (extra kussens). De temperatuur van de douche gaat steeds van warm naar koud naar kokend, wat behoorlijk vervelend was. Al het andere was in orde. De kamer is niet groot, maar voor een paar dagen is het prima. De airconditioning werkte prima. Ontbijt is oke. De kamer is erg rustig, wat goed is. Het hotel is gemakkelijk bereikbaar vanaf het metrostation.

I gave this a four-star review based on the fact that it is a BUDGET hotel. We stayed here for three-nights at the beginning of our trip to Spain in September. As a couple, with several large suitcases, it was okay for a few nights, we were not able to unpack much so getting ready each day was a challenge. The hotel is quiet and the beds are comfortable. It's odd that the shower is in the middle of the room (as opposed to being within an enclosed bathroom) so each time we showered the room stayed very humid for a good amount of time. Thankfully, the windows do open and you can control the temperature of your room so this wasn't much of an issue. We sleep with eye masks on, so this wasn't an issue, but right above the bed in our room there was a smoke or CO2 detector that flashed a green light all day and all night. If we didn't have our masks, this would have driven us crazy at night. This hotel isn't in the tourist hot spots, but it's near a main road with stores and restaurants. It's a two-minute walk from a metro station and the Madrid subway is affordable and easy to navigate. Hotel staff were pleasant and helpful.

Dirty and outdated, very noisy and as a result you lack good quality of sleep. Far from the centre, Expensive on site parking. Breakfast is extremely poor. Does not look like one of the Accor hotels at all.

You know what you normally get with Ibis budget hotels. Functional, but too small to be comfortable enough. The price is normally the main quality of these hotels. Friendly staff and good wifi service too. Very close to a metro stop and to supermarkets and bars
