The Victoria Hotel Macau

My wife and I were satisfied staying here. the room is clean, there is a table and sofa for drinking coffee, this is what the wife really likes. What we like most here is that the rooms are not stuffy, the bathrooms don't smell. The atmosphere was calm so we could really rest very comfortably. Friendly customer service, when we leave we bought cakes in the hotel lobby with discounted price. we will definitely come back again later.

This has been the most unpleasant trip to Macau I have ever had. None of the employees could speak english (except from check in, deposit and check out), this means they could not provide us with any proper information. The day we arrived, there was a typhoon coming so most places started the close early. The next morning the typhoon was gone already and we went to reception to get information on how to get to Hong Kong but it was useless. They said nothing was working; no taxis, no drivers, no ubers, no public busses and that we had to walk on the rain with a huge suitcase to Gongbei Port (it was 1km away but i want to make it clear we had a huge suitcase and it was raining). There was only one employee, a young girl, trying to help us. The other two, one was laughing at us making fun of the situation and the other guy kept making noises as if he was complaining, taking long breaths as if what we were asking was too much and not attainable. We communicated in english using a app and also with my little knowledge of mandarin. When leaving the hotel, the city was full of busses and when arriving to the Port it was full of taxis… so how come just 10 minutes before they said there was no option to go there but to walk? This is really not the hotel to stay if you want a staff that tries to provide you with any sort of information. Location of the hotel is in an area that is not clean at all and there are no restaurant options apart from a Pizza Hut and Mc Donalds.

I do not recommend this hotel! Not customer friendly. Was talking one day trip with my friend. Two rooms were needed. Upon booking through application it turned out that we booked last room available. Tried to call reception immediately to cancel. No one there speaks English. Tried to cancel booking through application and my request was denied with the statement that it already passed the deadline. The worst service ever. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Near the border, good for who wants to travel between Zhuhai and Macao. The deposit procedure requires cash or credit card of 500 MOP/HKD/RMB.

The hotel has been renovated and now having good amenities and services. The service was smooth and quick. The hotel has easy access to local restaurants and transportation .

Room is tidy and clean. It was great choosing this hotel to stay. I love the service and the place. Just the bridge outside the hotel covering the entire buildings view.

Very disappointed 😞 the price we paid was very high and the quality not so good.the staff at the hotel with low English level and working very slowly! Watch out there is an deposit for 500 dollar before you stay!
