First of all, I need to highlight this review is not about the staffing working at the hotel. The people working there were amazing. But, this is a terrible hotel, old, musty-smelling, very disgusting carpet. The hotel was very noisy as well, really difficult to sleep there. Windows didn't have any noise protection.

Ótimos travesseiros e colchão, ficamos num apartamento amplo (901) e com todo conforto, o pacote de núpcias foi perfeito, com flores, espumante, quarto decorado com pétalas, em forma de coração, vista linda para o mar. Obs: visando não desperdício, sugiro colocar menos quantidade de frutas, veio uma quantidade um tanto exagerada. Uma sugestão seria menos coisas doces no café da manhã e um pouco mais de pães. Excelente serviço e atendimento. Voltaremos a nos hospedar no hotel em breve!

Camas confortáveis, chuveiro bom, excelente localização e vista MARAVILHOSA! Quero registrar o bom atendimento de uma senhorinha que servia o café da manhã, não sei o nome dela, mas todos os dias em que estivemos hospedados ela sempre trabalhou com sorriso no rosto e muita simpatia.

A Praia dos Cavaleiros é muito bonita e a infraestrutura de bares, restaurantes e comércio em geral surpreende quem não conhece Macaé. O Hotel Mercure tem uma vista incrível para a praia, os funcionários são muito solícitos e simpáticos e o café da manhã é bom. A poderosa rede Accor, entretanto, deveria investir na manutenção do espaço, especialmente no interior dos quartos, pois os sinais de desgaste são bastante nítidos no mobiliário e no banheiro. Um último detalhe: do Mercure até a praia é preciso atravessar a Rodovia Amaral Peixoto e um quarteirão numa caminhada de menos de 10 minutos.

Me hospedo nesse hotel faz anos, sendo assim digo com conhecimento de causa que a qualidade das instalações está cada vez pior. Pela terceira vez consecutiva me hospedo em quarto com o ar-condicionado fora de operação. Nas últimas vezes foram possíveis a troca do quarto, dessa vez não. Tive que pernoitar num quarto quente, em pleno verão, e com a desculpa de que a manutenção está reparando, mas sem previsão (balela...) Não se vê clareza do hotel em reparar de forma definitiva o ar condicionado. Penso em não me hospedar mais aqui.

Mercure é um hotel excelente, estrutura impecável, funcionário atenciosos, café da manhã incrível. Minha única queixa é que a atendente disse que me colocaria em quarto frente mar e não colocou o que gera um certa frustração .

O hotel precisa URGENTEMENTE de uma reforma. Corredor dos andares com carpete já muito velho, com cheiro desagradável.
Quartos precisando serem reformados.
Móveis já precisando serem trocados, espelhos do banheiro em pessimas condições.
Quando entramos no quarto o ar-condicionado estava desligado, o botão de ligar estava quebrado, só ligou depois de colocar o dedo dentro dentro controle do ar-condicionado, correndo risco de tomar um choque.
A única coisa boa do hotel hoje, são os funcionários.
