Mysterious Langmusi Hostel

Great Hotel. Very friendly and helpful host. Answers questions right away. Heating blanket and heater in the room. Hot water for shower. Good location.

Locat guesthouse suited on the city center full of hospitality

A little haven of peace in Langmusi. The location is perfect, all the main places are accessible by walk. The staff is nice, helpful and very welcoming, I strongly recommend! We felt at home and very cosy there.

A comfortable place to stay in Langmusi

This local inn is a good option in this little town. The place has character and local flare. However I slept badly as my room was facing the front and there is a covered basketball court that comes alive at night and I could hear the ball bouncing and the whistle blowing at 2am! Mind you it was the summer holidays for the monasteries and the young monks were keen athletes. I believe that it is not like this during other time if the year. The rooms facing the back might not have the view but would definitely be quieter.

From the moment I arrived I was well taken care of at Nirvana resort. The accommodations were fabulous. Everything was clean and so comfortable and the view nothing short of spectacular. The cabins are perfectly placed to to wake up to the sun coming over the mountains and I was lucky enough to get the end cabin and could hear the river which lulled me to sleep every night. The owner kindly helped me find hiking routes and drive me to good spots to start. He also arranged a taxi into town and my next destination (Langmusi) The entire staff was friendly and kind. Great service and delicious food. AND couldn’t ask for a better spot to practice yoga in the morning . The only bad part was having to leave after 3 days. I hope I can make it back here someday !

Very well located just a few minutes walk from both langmusi monastery sites. It’s on a side street so not as noisy as the hotels on the main road. Very nice staff. The rooms are lovely albeit a bit cold at night. The complimentary breakfast is simple but tasty (congee , bread , tea) . It has a parking lot too if you’re in your own car, and very nice and pleasant atmosphere
