Hotel de La Paix

位置不錯，走路五分鐘就到湖邊了 酒店房間很小，很小。網上寫的13平米是真的沒有誇張。但麻雀雖小 五臟俱全吧，該有的也都有了。 酒店沒有健身房，但有一個小泳池。 房間裏面有一股味道，白天我都要全天開窗通風。

The hotel staff in particular at the reception were very helpful and provided support in terms of what to visit in Lugano as a tourist. In fact they recommended few beautiful places that I was aware of. Furthermore, the room was spacious, parking lot was withing the hotel area and the lake was only 200 meters away from the hotel. Overall, excellent hotel with fantastic staff. Thank you Laila and everyone to make my stay a memorable experience.

I've had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful hotel multiple times, and each visit reinforces why it's my go-to choice. The staff is not only amazing but also incredibly friendly and resourceful, always going above and beyond to ensure a memorable stay. The food is consistently delicious, and the well-kept bedrooms never fail to impress with their cleanliness and attention to detail. This hotel truly feels like a home away from home, and I can't recommend it enough for a comfortable and enjoyable stay

The location is ideal, the team is always genuinely smiling and professional, and attention to detail is evident in every aspect. My favorite moment there is the generous breakfast, which provides me with an excellent start to the day. I'm a loyal fan of Hotel De La Paix, and I confirm it's the perfect choice. Everything was great, but our visit was just too short. We only had time to sleep and walk around the city a little bit, but hopefully next business trip will have more time. Everyone was polite and courteous

A very bad experience in this hotel. I was taken ill management do not accept reception team do not understand English and management have an arrogant and couldn't care less attitude towards guests. On my return from hospital no one asked how i was. They can barely understand English.

Very disappointed with this hotel, sometimes good reviews are false, done by friends of the hotel. My mother was taken ill at the hotel, and the way the hotel dealt with the issue was appalling , the level of English is very poor. The receptionists do not understand English , when we asked for a doctor to come to the hotel, they said no and instead called for an ambulance, which cost 800 CHF. They should of told us that the ambulance would cost this amount, in the United States where an ambulance costs 1000 usd plus, the hotel staff always inform the guests , that if they want to ovoid this 1000 usd bill, then if the customer is reasonably okay, then to take a taxi to the hospital. Also the hotel receives commission by sending guests to a private clinic in Lugano, instead of sending, or asking guests if they would want to go the local government hospital, which has lower prices than a private Hospital/ Clinic. The staff were cold, and uncaring. I stayed numerous times at the Continental Park Hotel Lugano, much better customer service , much better breakfast. I stayed at this hotel, because of the closeness to the town centre, because of family. But what a mistake, never again. This is a 4 star hotel, I question this, no business centre, no Gym, Breakfast was poor, anyone that thinks breakfast was good, obviously does not know anything better. No omelette station, cold scrambled eggs, they charge for omelettes. Only cheese and eggs, every day 4 star hotel, where is the smoked salmon, tuna, Herrings, Avocados, salads, old pineapple, cucumber, which is not fresh,anyone that’s thinks breakfast is 4 star , obviously has not travelled around the world a lot. If management adapt an arrogant attitude towards guests, and show no sympathy, then certainly don’t expect guests to leave with a positive attitude. I have stayed at 4 star hotels, like Hilton, Radisson, you can’t compare. Yes the rooms are nice on the positive side, and the hotel is clean , but the hotel lacks the facilities of a 4 star hotel, breakfast is 2 star and staff are 2 star , there is much room for improvement, especially amongst the staff and management

My stay at Hotel de La Paix was exceptional . At hotel De La Paix you are always greeted with a smile and all services were delivered in a manner that truly exceeded my expectations. My reservations and entire stay were managed by a highly professional Front desk team. All my requests were taken care of with extreme professionalism, utmost care and friendliness. Special thanks to Barbra from Guest Relations who genuinely cares about the guest, carefully listens and goes above and beyond to accommodate all requests. I would like to also thank Liela who was so pleasant and professional in dealing with my reservation requests. As well special thanks to Maryna, Niccolo, and Iman for all their amazing services specially in terms of room bookings and category choices. I stayed on two occasions and experienced two categories which were the Suite and Junior Suite which were spacious and beautiful. Both categories had balconies overlooking the beautiful lake. The location in Paradiso Lugano is very convenient and easy to reach, the pool side is beautiful and the mini bar is always free. I truly enjoyed my stay and look forward to hopefully staying at the beautiful hotel De La Paix once again.

Great hotel, good location, friendly staff, and a very decent hotel breakfasts. We had a corner room on the 5th floor with fantastic views.over the lake. Modern, comfy room. Highly recommend this hotel.
