Motel 6 Rockford, IL

Cleaner than most but I think new Reno or newly built

This place feels like a prison you have to show your id all around to move around. My comfort was destroyed just off that fact then the hot water didn’t work

I wasn't sure how to rate service. The hotel is essentially unmanned. I interacted with a kiosk to check in. The hotel looked to be empty (2-3 cars), yet for some reason we were booked into the third floor. Not really a problem when the elevator is working, but it wasn't. The room seemed to be clean-ish, but there were a bunch of dead flies all over the floor and some on the bed. There was a previously used bar of soap stuffed back into its wrapper and on our sink.

Very clean room and comfy bed. Bathroom had been remodeled and was very nice.

Always great and would never stay anywhere else when visiting family in Rockford!!! Happy New Year! 🙏

Didn't like anything had to check out at five in the morning because there were bed bugs.

Check in was quick and easy. Pool being closed was a bummer. Appreciate how bright the parking lots are at night and security cameras around the building.

The room was clean and comfortable. The second floor hallway echoed audibly as I walked on it (and I only weigh 135 lbs). Online reservation was easy. The staff was friendly, but I found it awkward to only be able to communicate with them via video screen rather than a live person at the counter. For check out, I didn't see anyone for a few minutes even after tapping on the screen, but someone eventually appeared. Not having a live person made it hard to understand where my room was in relation to multiple parking lots.

Dirty, bugs, kiosk check in. No smoking & no pets but obvious smoking & pets including cats on site. Horrible check in experience. Cleanliness & amenities both zero stars. Bugs in room & hallway. Loud especially after hours.
