Hôtel Christina Lourdes

In dit onlangs gerenoveerde hotel hebben we onze Wonderbox gebruikt. Zeer aangenaam verrast door de ontvangst die ons wordt gegeven in het kader van deze Box, die in hetzelfde schuitje is geplaatst als andere klanten, in tegenstelling tot bepaalde etablissementen die u, wanneer u een Box gebruikt, accepteren... met tegenzin. ..!!! Om terug te komen op dit hotel: De telefonische (reservering) en fysieke (aankomst) ontvangst was zeer vriendelijk. We hadden een mooie kamer met uitzicht op de Gave de Pau met een prachtige badkamer en apart toilet (erg leuk). Voor het diner een uniek menu, zonder poespas, maar goed bereid en overvloedig. Het hoofd van de kamer, erg vriendelijk, zorgt voor je zonder opdringerig te zijn (kwaliteit). Wat het ontbijt betreft, je hebt van alles genoeg. Tenzij u extreem kieskeurig bent, is dit etablissement perfect voor een verblijf in Lourdes, op een steenworp afstand van de plaats van aanbidding. PS: Ik zei dat het geluidsniveau ''gemiddeld'' was: niet vanwege de geluidsisolatie, maar vooral vanwege het gebrek aan goede manieren van bepaalde klanten....!!! Tot slot hebben we een uitstekende tijd gehad in het Christina Hotel en ik wil erop wijzen dat deze beoordeling geen 'gemaksmededeling' is.

Clean rooms, beautiful views but they have no idea what vegetarian food is, for 5 days I was served the same plate repeatedly and I was also made fun of by the gentleman whose name unfortunately I didn't ask,about being a vegetarian,and asked me if I would have just pasta without any sauce which ofcourse I refused .Since being with a group I didn't want to cause problems but I wouldn't go to this hotel again and I don't recommend it to vegetarians let alone vegans.I advised the hotel upon arrival that I was a vegetarian and was assured that it wouldn't be a problem but clearly it was!

This was a great place to stay. The staff made it. So helpful and friendly. Room was very clean and had a modern feel. Great view from the roof top of the hotel along with being able to relax, play chess and crazy golf if you desire. Availed of the breakfast also and it was brilliant with hot and cold options and all you can eat. Above all the staff here were great. On arrival at 11 am they were able to let us into the room immediately (Lucky for us maybe). The man on reception was full of chat about the Rugby and what was happening in Lourdes the weekend. He made us feel really welcome and excited for being there. Lourdes itself was great, the hotel only a 10-12 minute walk to the Basillica if you are not distracted by all the shops/restaurants along the way. We really enjoyed our 24hrs in Lourdes. On leaving the hotel I had prebooked a taxi through trip advisor to collect us at the hotel at 11am the next day. No sign of Taxi so i rang at 11:15 as I was getting a little worried and didn't want to miss flight. The taxi company(Uber Type) said the driver had let him down and I had to get my own taxi. (he did say he would refund me what I had paid but to be honest that wasn't the point ofit) I explained to the lady on reception what had just happened and she took the it upon herself to ring the contact I had herself and gave him a good telling off (in french) over the phone. He was then able to organise a taxi to the hotel for ten minutes later. Very thankful to this lady "legend" at the reception desk. We will be back to stay again and would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Paper cups to make tea and in the bathroom. The property is old and with a small fridge and plastic cups/ beakers (tea O water) it would be three star hotel. I repeat the staff were friendly and hotel was clean which is GOOD.

Very friendly and helpful staff.we werw hungry on the evening we arrived and it suited to eat in the hotel.the food wasnt great

Hotel Christina was very quant.

A well located hotel with free parking very close. The staff were all very helpful and spoke good English. The hotel was well presented and the bedroom was spacious and serviced every day. The only negative we had was the time of breakfast, 7am until 9am. However, there were plenty of cafes and bars nearby.

Property is very clean..
