Belfry & Spa by Ligne St Barth

Firstly this hotel is located central to all the attractions at Lourdes, and with parking on site it is a great place to leave the car and just walk the city. The rooms are comfortable and the Spa area is small but nice to relax after a long day walking the city. The best part of this place is the staff, aside from making sure we were looked after at the hotel, my wife and I had our Passport and Green Cards stolen by a pickpocket, and the staff was super helpful in directing us to the police and calling around to try to see if the pouch was found, as most pickpockets are only looking for cash. Supportive and allowed us to continue to use the room after check out and helped with translation and everything. If I could give the staff 10 stars I would. I 100% recommend staying here not just for the room but the peace of mind of such caring and considerate staff!!

I have always stayed at the hotel with my family and friends, the staff are great and accommodating. Rooms are nice and clean, the bar is good and spa facilities are fine as well. we will be returning soon. location is great as not far from the center and the Grotto.

The rooms marketed and views for this hotel are not accurate. Dont believe the images shown as they are not the views from the rooms. Breakfast poor, dinner very overpriced , reception is a long white table !!! Pool not clean with murky water. Definately not a 5 star Hotel. Promised the sanctuary view from our room with the cathedral in background - an extra £200 !!

While the staff is nice and location good, I get very disappointed when the hotel quality is less than as represented on the hotel website which is what happened at the Belfry Hotel spa. This is not a 5 star hotel as represented. The breakfast buffet was poor, the flooring is plastic grass that is worn, the bathroom steams up and there is no fan, my shower was not contained so water dispersed all over the floor, and when we dined in the bar our charge could not go on our room charge. Given that, I think it is one of the better options available in Lourdes. I prefer that hotels don’t over represent on their website.

The staff was kind and helpful. The rooms are well kept and the beds very comfortable. The hotel is walking distance to the Grotto and Basilicas and convenient to restaurants and shopping. I would recommend this hotel to friends visiting Lourdes. Make sure to book dinner at the restaurant.

Absolutely loved this hotel! Very family friendly, amazing staff, peaceful and welcoming. We adored the decor. The food was exceptional and nothing was too much trouble. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone!

I had the unfortunate experience of staying at Belfry Spa and Hotel, and I must say, it was far from the luxurious 5-star experience I was expecting. My disappointment stemmed from the limited spa facilities for parents, the freezing cold pool temperature, and the unprofessional behavior of the staff. Firstly, as a parent, I was looking forward to enjoying the spa facilities while my children and partner were occupied. However, to my dismay, during the designated children hours, all other facilities were closed. This meant that I was unable to utilize any of the amenities that I had paid for, despite the hefty price tag associated with this supposedly high-end hotel. Furthermore, the advertised pool temperature for kids was a warm 31 degrees. However, upon arrival, I was shocked to find that the pool water was freezing cold, measuring only in the low to mid 20s. This made it impossible for my children to use the pool, and it was a clear misrepresentation of the facilities. To add insult to injury, the staff's behavior was far from professional. While the hosts at reception during the evening were lovely and pleasant, my encounter with a staff member in the morning of January 14th was appalling. As I tried to explain the issues I had encountered with paying for facilities I couldn't use, she continuously spoke over me, displaying a complete lack of respect. In a final act of rudeness, she abruptly asked me, "Are you finished?" This kind of behavior is simply unacceptable at a supposed 5-star hotel. In conclusion, my experience at Belfry Spa and Hotel was extremely disappointing. The limited spa facilities for parents, the freezing cold pool temperature, and the unprofessional behavior of the staff all contributed to a stay that was far from the luxurious and relaxing experience I had anticipated. I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone.
