I was kept awake until 1.30 am by a loud female guest in a nearby room. She only stopped when I knocked on my door in desperation,

I have stayed at a lot of budget accommodations in London. This is one i won’t forget. I was worried about noise being a KCL student accommodation. I was not prepared for filth and neglect. First, there was a disgusting baby bottle full of disgusting dark fluid on the desk. Random! Then no toilet paper. No shower curtain either, but somehow toilet paper I thought was below the belt (literally). Light in the bathroom didn’t work. Otherwise I might have seen no toilet paper. The Mattress springs were all broken. The duvet like the carpet was filthy. No glass for water - nothing! Squalor. So no, I do not recommend this place

No A\C but excellent otherwise. One day I asked for fresh towels and they delivered, but also took the dirty ones off the floor and hung them back up!!!! But no matter. I would stay here again. Clean and very nice place, and within walking distance from the heart of the city.

The actual accommodations here are great. I do not understand why people are dissatisfied with the wet room set up for the bathroom - having your own bathroom at this price in a HCOL city is fantastic. The problem with this property is the housekeeping staff. I thought there would be no housekeeping at this property, which I was fine with. However, housekeeping did show up twice during my ten day stay and on the second time, they left my door unlocked all day (and propped open the outer fire door on top of that), meaning anyone could walk in and steal my passport or other valuables. They also removed both of my towels and left me with just a hand towel and ripped my phone charger out of the wall, but this was secondary to the main issue of the unlocked door.

Great location and good standard of basic accommodation. Only issue was the fact windows didn’t open very wide at all, and no fans etc available, so very warm and stuffy in the height of summer.

Very good location close to tube stations and city center. Room was basic and comfortable. It is student accommodation. The bathroom was a bit of a joke though. Shower just perched in one corner right beside toilet. But considering it's London the price was very reasonable.

I stayed for 1 night at the Dover Street Apar**ents. All I used the staff for was to pick up the keys so I can not really comment on the service I received. The room was small but big enough for my requirements. Very good location only a 10 minute walk to London Bridge. I had an en-suite shower which was impossible to keep to an even temperature as I spent a few moments getting the temperature right only for it to fluctuate between cold and too hot whilst showering. There was a desk and chair in the room and plenty of cupboard space. The bed was too soft for my liking but clean enough. There was a separate shared kitchen down the hall which had all the usual kitchen amenities except the most important one a kettle! I did mention this to reception but as I only spent 1 night I do not know if this was resolved, although there was a tea and coffee making machine in reception which I used to make my tea and porridge in the morning. It could also be used for filling water bottles. I was concerned about it being noisy at night as after all it is student accommodation but it was very quiet even though I was on the ground floor and my window faced the main courtyard area. Over all I would highly recommend Great Dover Street Apar**ents as it is a cheap place to stay in central London.
