This hotel is not suitable for those with mobility problems. We were on the 4th floor and its a whopping 89 steps. There is a floor above also. My husband and I stayed in this hotel for 2 nights. We found the hotel OK. It does not advertise itself to be something it is not. Our room was clean and quite large. With one large double bed and one single bed. The beds a very hard so if you do not like hard beds then this isn't the hotel for you. There was a TV with free view channels and free WiFi. The room we had was on the 4th floor. It was around 18ft x 15 ft with a bathroom of around 6ft x 6ft. The shower was great. Quite powerful and stayed at a nice temp. The hotel is very loud. You can hear everyone in the rooms above you and below you walking around as the floorboards make a very load creaking sound. There is a kettle, microwave, iron with ironing board, hairdryer, fridge, and an alarm clock in the room. However there are no cups or spoons in the room to make tea or coffee, so I'm unsure what the kettle was for. When checking in we were told there was a little communal room for tea and biscuits also (although again there was no cups or spoons in that room to make tea with). There is no smoking in the rooms. There is a back garden area for smokers. I would not stay here again, only because of how loud the hotel was with people moving around, as I'm a light sleeper I was awake alot. However for a budget friendly no frills stay in London this hotel is perfectly fine. Although if I had an issue I'm not sure what I would have done as there are no staff here. Only between 3pm-8pm.
