Premier Inn London Angel Islington

There are updated rooms here now and it feels like a bit more effort would make a huge difference. Eg there were white hairs on my fabric headboard, the soap dispenser is all rusty and there is no desk/dressing table. Seems to have been removed! Also the free WiFi is an absolute joke. The lift looks tired and there was rubbish in the lobby. But the beds are indeed very comfy and the venue of this place is handy for everything.

Nice hotel for short business stays, the rooms are big enough and has everything you need for a short stay. Breakfast basic but everything is good. Staff is friendly and pretty speedy at resolving all my queries. I recommend this place for short stays

There was a BATH!! So many hotels are now pulling out the bath and having showers only. I like to have the choice of either. A soak in a bath is vital for me after a long hard day of travelling, sightseeing or working. Premier Inn seems to be the only hotel chain that are retaining baths in some of their rooms and for that reason I will continue booking Premier Inn The customer service was excellent and Dion in housekeeping wished me a lovely day as I left the room which really set me up for the day ahead!

It is a hotel in a great location, perfect for a long weekend with young kids. Staff is friendly! Rooms and bathroom -clean. Value for money is good! The only negative thing is that you are not allowed to open the windows. There is AC, but this simply does not compensate when 4 people sleep in one room.

We had a lovely stay at this premier inn. Its in a great location and although you are 2 minutes away from a good shopping centre, the underground and hustle and bustle of cafes and bars etc the hotel itself is very quiet and peaceful away from traffic. We would especially like to thank Ghurdi and Callum....they are a great team and very entertaining. Our girls and us thought they were great and Ghurdi was particularly kind to our youngest daughter when she gave her a lovely pen after she told her a story which Ghurdi liked....this made our daughters day!! Lovely stay and we would definitely return as its so convenient too to get around London.

Great hotel, friendly staff, clean room, air conditioning is great. Breakfast good and relaxed. Would stay again.

I was shocked to discover there was no window in my room when I checked in. There was no mention of it online or at check-in. After entering my room and discovering there was ABSOLUTELY NO WINDOW 😮 I went back to reception and explained that I couldn't stay in that room (claustraphobic). Reception informed me that they were booked up and that I couldn't switch the room. There was a large convention very close of which I was a part and so I had to take the room. Very uncomfortable place to stay with no natural light... I mean even prison cells have windows! I was told to contact Guest Relations and speak to them about compensation but was greeted by a very unfriendly young lady named Ellie. Told they would do nothing but "thanked" me for bringing it to their attention and that maybe in the future they would consider putting it up on their website! I asked to speak to a supervisor but was flat out refused. Got off the call absolutely fuming. I used to appreciate Premier Inn for their rates, convenient locations and cleanliness, but never again and I will be sure to share with my large network of friends and followers my dismay and frustration. I CAN NO LONGER RECOMMEND PREMIER INN TO ANYONE, EVER!

Perfect location for a show at Sadlers Wells. Local area has an array of things to do but a great place for exploring London further as Angel station is a very short walk from the hotel. Staff friendly, family room spacious and clean and excellent value.

Great friendly attentive staff especially Gurdy Couldn’t help us enough. Breakfast was great value with children under 15 eating free, it was hot and plentiful!! Despite being a busy weekend with sport hotel never felt crowded or rowdy.
