I strongly do not recommend this accommodation! This is a scam!!! I made a reservation six months in advance, the money was taken immediately. I canceled the reservation, but the money was not refunded. First I was told it takes 5-30 days to return, then it was 30 business days. After that, communication was blocked. In the end, booking returned the money to me after 2 months.

Made a reservation through booking in march to stay on january 2025. They charged me the full amount 2 weeks after the reservation. In october they changed the place I was staying for a new one. I didn't agree with the new place so I canceled the reservation. It's been 2 months and I'm still waiting for my refund. They say that they can make it within 30 bussiness days. Well, the 30 days passed and now they say they have a problem with their system to make the refund. I had to go through booking to get my money back and they are giving me the refund because the place is not answering. DO NOT RESERVE HERE

Room much smaller than photos made it look. Had ground floor studio. Room barely cleaned. Floor was dirty. Surfaces dusty. Bathroom cabinet had toothpaste stains on mirror and inside. Lightshades caked thick with dust. Sofa dirty and stained. Rug stained. Dishes dirty. Bathroom stank of mould. Extractor fan caked thick with dirt and dust. Holes in the floor and the floorboards shifted underfoot. Cupboard doors didnt close properly. Previous repairs unfinished and left half done. Lighting above shower broken and electrics underneath exposed. We were frightened to shower in case of the electrics being exposed to steam. Bathroom mirror faulty. No TV remote present. Proomised one several times by manager over email and it never materialised. Wifi failed continously. Bin broken and unable to close. We didnt make food in the appartment as using the bin would have stunk the whole place out. Couldnt open the windows in November weather. Toilet so close to sink you cannot sit straight. Cooker vent broken. Mattress was rock hard. Controls on heater unresponsive. Emailed host multiple times with issues. Promised issues would be addressed, nothing happened, gave up on the third day. Host brushing us off hoping we would stop asking clearly. Spent 4 days in a dinky dive of an appartment where we were scared to shower and unable to cook, with no TV to relax in the evening. Stay away.

We stayed at Stayo Southbank (Treveris Street) in May 2024. The apartment was a pretty good sized apartment with balcony with complete facilities like a big refrigerator, dishwasher, washing machine, stove top. The apt was bright allowing lot of sunlight. There is a lift which helps with the luggage. Housekeeping prior to our arrival was perfect and also we got a free housekeeping during our stay since it was a long stay. Pedestal fans were provided to us since the apt does not have ceiling fans or AC. However we didn't require those as well since the weather was cold during our stay. The location of the apartment is good with public transport closeby. Southwark and Blackfriars bus stop and underground are walking distance which allows to travel across the city. Tesco Sainsbury and Amazon Fresh grocery store are at 100 m distance Check in was smooth and our requests were promptly attended to. Though luggage storage is not available they allowed us to keep our luggage into the apt while housekeeping was on. They take a Gbp 250 deposit prior to arrival and it was promptly refunded within 3-4 days of our check out. Overall was a pleasant stay and would definitely stay here again. Just a small suggestion - the bathtub needs to have a handrail since it's at a height so it was difficult to move in and out without a handrail. Also it would help tourists if extra tissue rolls and other linen are provided through the stay as and when required since we come on vacation and would need not worry about those stuff.

I had high hopes for this Stayo Southbank apartment where I was spending a work-related weeklong trip to London, but—to be frank—I was really disappointed. I’m often in Europe for work, and this is one of the poorer apartment accommodations that I have ever booked. I want to give an honest review; so, to start out: the apartment was not as expensive as other options I was looking at, so perhaps I expected too much. However, I had read a number of glowing reviews of Stayo’s properties before I booked, and I think that those were overblown. After booking the apartment through ***********, I was peppered with many separate emails from the Stayo company that seems to manage properties across London. Some of these emails were repeatedly sent, which became annoying. Check in was easy, automated, and contactless, and the day before arriving, we were assigned unit 4—one floor up from the ground, right over the Stayo company office, which was downstairs. Like many flats in London, this was small, and I think more than two people in this apartment would be uncomfortably full. My biggest complaint about the apartment—and this was unit 4 of Stayo Southbank—so this might not apply across the board—was that it was far too hot in the apartment itself. I travel a lot in Europe, so I know that air conditioning is rare (and, of course, there was no air conditioning in this apartment). However, the ventilation in the apartment was incredibly poor, so that there was no cross breeze, and the humidity from the bathroom would linger in the apartment for hours and hours. The bedroom window barely opened, and the living space only had a sliding door that opened without a screen, which meant bugs flew in the apartment constantly when the door was open to cool off the apartment. My alarm clock includes a thermometer and humidity meter, and at one point in the late afternoon, the bedroom was over 27 degrees Celsius/81 degrees Fahrenheit with humidity indoors well over 70%. The bedroom never cooled below 25 degrees Celsius/77 degrees Fahrenheit, even when it was so chilly outside that you needed a jacket! I always slept poorly because it was so hot and humid indoors. After our first night, we emailed the management, and they promised a spare fan, which after a follow up email was delivered. We were not in London during a heat wave or it was even exceptionally warm, so I can’t imagine what would happen when the temperatures spike. Of course, the problems could be specific to unit 4 and the ventilation there; however, based on my experience, I would not recommend this property if you are sensitive to heat and traveling to London in the summer. The furnishings in the apartment were fairly basic. The bed was exceedingly squishy and uncomfortable, and the two duvets left in the apartment were too thick and warm for sleeping in a hot apartment. The kitchen was not particularly well equipped, and there was no furniture on the balcony, which would have made the stay more pleasant

Mi experiencia con ellos ha sido nefasta y no me he alojado en su apartamento. Hice una reseva con cancelación gratuita en septiembre 24. Enseguida me cobraron el importe (unos 800€). Una semana después cancelé correctamente en tiempo y forma. El problema es que dos meses depués no he cobrado el reembolso y sigo reclamando. Y lo peor es que no sé cuando recuperaré mi dinero. Os recomiendo no reservar, salvo que estéis muy convencidos.

Realice varias reservas en Septiembre. El apartamento no tenia que haber cobrado nada, pues se pagaba al llegar al apartamento, y me cobró inmediatamente. Tuve que anular las reservas, y 45 dias despues todavia estoy esperando el reembolso. ES UN TIMO. ES UNA ESTAFA. Siempre dice que tiene problemas técnicos y Booking no me da una solución para cobrar. Con fecha 8-Novbre el anfitrion dice que ha entregado un comprobante del reembolso, el empleado de BOOKING piensa que está falsificada, pero debo esperar un mes para que Booking me pague. Ya ni me fio de Booking, que confian más en unos ESTAFADORES.

ES UNA ESTAFA. NO RESERVEIS EN ESTE APARTAMENTO. Realicé 3 reservas en Septiembre que tuve que anular por cambio de fechas. No tenian que haber cobrado nada porque se pagaba en el apartamento. Resulta que me cobró inmediatamente. 45 dias despues todavía me tiene que reembolsar. Argumenta que tiene problemas tecnicos desde hace 30 dias. Booking ha respondido en un correo que cobraré dentro de UN AÑO y me dan la fecha exacta. Booking no quiere hacerse responsable. Pienso que les falta tesoreria. Booking tendría que impedir que se realicen mas reservas en este apartamento. Puedo demostrarlo a TripAdvisor con documentos concretos. Voy a ponerlo en conocimiento de la policia.

Wie bereits andere hier geschrieben haben, ist dieser Anbieter total unseriös. Wir überlegen bereits Klage einzureichen. Trotz der Option kostenlos zu stornieren, wird unser Geld nicht zurückgezahlt. Wir haben über 2.000 € bezahlt. Beim Abbuchen waren Sie sehr schnell, obwohl unsere Buchung erst für 2025 erfolgte! In deren Vertragsbedingungen steht, dass eine Rückerstattung innerhalb von 30 Tagen erfolgt. Die Zeit ist schon fast um das doppelte überschritten. Es kommen nur Ausreden, dass Sie IT-Probleme hätten. Kann alles sein, aber dann macht man eben manuell eine Banküberweisung fertig. Ich würde die Finger davon lassen!!!
