The location is a bit far from Carton to take the carrier. But the staff is so sweet and lovely compared to the first hotel. I was embarrassed to guide me to the lower room on the first floor, but it gave me guidance in advance. You can have a room on the ground floor in the same hotel next door. Everyone smiled and said hello first, and the chocolate service was so good. Two regrets are that the club room in the basement below the ground floor has a high level of noise between floors and the wi-fi is not good. Besides, it is the best in every way. Next hotel you want to visit again. Staff are very lovely and kind. always try to say hello first. Everything was pefect. But there was two thing to need improve. one is wi-fi is not working well. disconnecting a lot. the other is noise from upstairs. But I highly recommend this hotel and i also want to stay there again. Because of lovely staff.

Serve The hotel staff is not very friendly to the Chinese. The room I booked was arranged for me in the basement. I was unwilling to move to the 4th floor. Be careful when checking in. Location The location is very good, in the downtown area, it is difficult to be safe. Safety is paramount when traveling abroad. This is the 2nd time I stay in this hotel. The location is good, can walk to Hyde Park and have jogging there in the morning. Central line Lancester station and Paddington train station are within walking distance. The hotel is small, but very nice. I enjoy the breakfast at the hotel.

Be careful of being unknowingly charged with a ‘discussionary charge of tips’ (supposed to be A Conpulsory charge of tips, don’t be fool by the name, it is non-discussionary) AFTER CHECKING OUT of the hotel. I was being charged with a discussionary charge of the tips on the credit card automatically without being informed upfront after I checked out and left the hotel. When I checked out, i was informed at the counter that they were closing their account for previous day and they would help me check out my room and email me the invoice of my stay after they finished closing account. As a result, I innocently left the hotel since I thought a 5-star hotel would not have anything gone wrong. However, I was totally wrong until I saw extra charges on my credit card while not receiving any so called invoice from the hotel at all. I then reached out to Trip.com to request for the invoice that they have promised to send to me and it was then I was informed that the extra charges were from a discussionary charge of tips. I wasn’t happy about the way this was done hence I requested for a refund for this since it clearly stated this is a DISCUSSIONARY fee, not a compulsory fee. However, I was informed that this is a Non-refundable fee and my request was denied. Out of so many hotels I have stayed, it is unbelievable that in a 5-Star hotel, I was forced to pay something that wasn’t even being informed upfront. In addition, with the fee name suggested, it is a discussionary charge of tips NOT a compulsory charge of tips, the hotel has forced the customers to pay it as COMPULSORY CHARGE OF TIPS. In addition, the hotel services were very inefficient and lot of rooms for improve. We ordered for an in-room meal and we were told that it would take about half an hour to deliver. Hence we waited, and until an hour later, there was no update on our meal and we had to make a call again to check for the progress of our meal. It was then we knew there was a delay in the meal. By the time we done with our meal, we made the call again to request for someone to collect the plates, we literally waited for more than an hour and had to call twice before someone came to pick up the plates. This shouldn’t have been the service received in a 5-star hotel and the worst of all, the hotel should have more transparency in their charges and should have informed the customers on the charges upfront before the actual charging. When we signed for the amount paid for the meal, there were no statement on the discussionary charge of tips at all, and we didn’t expect there would be as we were not even informed. It is not that we are unwilling to give the tips and we did give the tips during the stay. However, it made us very uncomfortable that we weren’t informed anything upfront and it was charged to my credit card AFTER we CHECKED OUT of THE HOTEL. It made us feeling very unsafe to provide the credit card to the hotel as they can charge whatever charges they want after checking out the hotel. In addition, it is a discussionary charge, isn’t it should be discussed before I was being charged? If not it should be called a a compulsory charge of tips.

This hotel gives me a better feeling. Conveniently located on a hillside, trains and tracks can be seen in front of the hotel. Although the hotel facilities are a bit old, the rooms are clean and tidy, the bathrooms are large, and the bathrooms are comfortable. We booked this hotel because it was close to the Albert Hall which we were visiting. We booked for 2 nights and compared to most other hotels in the area was reasonably priced, and breakfast was included. Our expectations were fairly low (because of the price), but reviews were generally good. The reception was very small, but neat, and our room was on the ground floor (they changed it for us as were originally in the basement). The room was very small, but had everything including tea / coffee, hairdryer, TV, shower room, and was clean and tidy. Breakfast was advertised as 'continental', but in fact consisted of juices, cereals, hot food such as scrambled, fried and boiled eggs, beans, tomatoes, croissants, yoghurt and toast and tea /coffee. It was served in a neat small dining room in the basement. The staff were very nice and helpful. As vegetarians it's the first time where we could anything presented! We enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it when visiting London.

My husband and I stayed here after a cruise and I love, love, loved it. The room was clean, had coffee, and I believe robes. Every time I asked for information, I got prompt polite answers. I explored the night before how to reach Paddington Station, which is very nice to be close to because you can catch the express train to Heathrow Airport there. .The neighborhood is very safe and quiet. I heard it was the district where Princess Dianna lived. I walked around the neighborhood and found places to get food to eat. We did not have breakfast because we had to leave early in the morning. Highly recommend this hotel..

This is a basic modern small hotel, and is suited to families wanting a short time in London. Although a bit out of the way in Bayswater, it is a short walk to Bayswater Road, where buses a n the Tube may be found; it is also across the road from Hyde Park for those keen to keep fit or just wander. While only providing Continental Breakfast, there was a more than sufficient choice, including scrambled egg. The room was clean with an ensuite room with shower (very modern and loads of hot water). Altogether good value and to be recommended.

Conveniently located above Hyde Park, Sonder Henry checked all my boxes for a fun, safe, solo holiday. My room was small by American standards but perfectly cozy for one with a big window to enjoy a rare week of sun in London. The staff was very helpful when I had issues with my key tap on my phone and available at all hours should you need anything. Would recommend for solo travelers and groups as well in some of the bigger rooms.
