I cannot recommend 54 São Paulo highly enough. We have just returned home after a 9 night stay and we loved every minute. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome. The property is staffed at reception until 10pm by the most wonderful team who always greeted us with a smile, everyone was so helpful. We were celebrating a birthday during our stay and they went above and beyond to make it really special, leaving a handwritten note, chocolates and wine in the room. We stayed in a one bedroom apartment which was beautiful. It was brilliantly equipped, flooded with natural light and overlooked the gorgeous garden. The apartment, and whole property in general was always incredibly spotlessly clean, our apartment was serviced throughout our stay and we had clean towels every other day. There is access to a washing machine and tumble dryer at reception which was really helpful. The location is amazing, close to incredible restaurants, cafes and bars. Just around the corner from the time out market and Cais do sodre train station. We have found our home away from home in Lisbon at 54 São Paulo and we cannot wait to come back. Thank you thank you for everything, it was absolutely perfect!

Loved EVERYTHING about this place!! Location, staff, cleanliness, design, space, amenities...it was truly perfect for my teen-age daughters and me on our first trip to Lisbon. We didn't mind not having a restaurant on site and it's perfectly situated near tons of wonderful restaurants, cafes, bars, shops and every convenience, but it's also not an overly noisy neighborhood. The staff was super helpful and available from the minute we booked and they organised transfers from the airport and were full of suggestions on what to do and where to go.

We loved everything about this hotel! The location is top, within few minutes of the Time Out Market. There any many restaurants and cafes in the area. The apartment was beautiful and spotlessly clean. The staff was amazing, very helpful and always ready help. We highly recommend this place.

We spent 2 nights in Lisbon for a short weekend get-away. The apartment, actually the entire bulding complex, was perfect for the stay. It was equped with everything we needed, the room was clean and the bed comfy. It was a little noisy due to being located at the groud level but not as much as it would have affected the mood or interrupted our sleep. The staff was super friendly and helpful, gave us tips for restaurants and places to visit, and were easy to talk to.

We stayed here for 4 nights in a superior studio apartment and it was a great size, great decor and the perfect location. The bed was really comfortable and the apartments are serviced with cleaning and fresh towels most days. It had everything we needed. There is a good hairdryer in the room and you can use laundry facilities if you want to. There is construction work next door but they advise you of this in advance when you first book so you have the chance to change if it would be an issue for you. It’s noisy from 8am weekdays but not on weekends or at night so it’s not an issue if you are planning to explore, only if you would be staying in the room 24/7. The staff were really helpful and friendly and any issues we had were resolved quickly. They will store your luggage before or after check in/out and you can book an Uber right outside. It was €12 to and from the airport and around €6 to Belem. If we were to return to Lisbon there is no reason we wouldn’t stay here again!

Massive construction site directly next door I added a photo from my room. And the hotel doesn’t tell you about that. It's very loud and construction starts at 6 am and ends at 10 pm. And if you complain the hotel staff says you’re the only person to complain and they refuse to refund you. Every day I had to check for spiders in my bed because every day there was a spider hiding under my pillows. The last straw was when one of the employees was smoking a cigarette inside the lobby common area and became aggressive when I told him to stop. I left the hotel early and they refused to refund me even though I paid the refundable rate. I left even though I had two weeks left on my reservation. Do not go here, they don’t know how to treat guests nor do they care. The owner is super conceited and thinks he is better than his guests. He treats the hotel as his personal living room. Avoid at all costs and don't believe the positive reviews.

This was a treat for my 50th birthday and it did not disappoint. Absolutely beautiful apartment, perfectly located and well equipped. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. I have already recommended to friends & family

We stayed in 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment.Ideal for 2 couples. It was spacious and tastefully decorated also with a well equipped kitchen. We appreciated the very reasonable mini bar. The location is excellent not far from the river and Cais do Sodre station. There are plenty of good restaurants nearby. The staff were very helpful and informative and we would look forward to staying here again.
