Beste Thierry Verhoustraeten (La direction), Ik wou dat ik jullie 5 sterren kon geven maar ik kan het hotel helemaal geen sterren geven, zelfs die ene ster is te veel. Ik koos voor jullie hotel omwille van de goede recensies en ontving na de boeking jullie set 'policies' en natuurlijk op onze route van Portugal naar België. Toen het me na enkele files duidelijk werd dat we het niet gingen halen voor 22u30 (na 800+ km van Lissabon) heb ik jullie onmiddellijk gebeld om ongeveer 18u om jullie hiervan op de hoogte te brengen maar jullie verkozen inflexibel te zijn zelfs nadat we verschillende voorstellen hadden gedaan om een oplossing te zoeken. "U heeft een probleem" is het enige antwoord dat we van u kregen naast andere arrogante opmerkingen. Als extra konden we zelfs onze reservatie niet annuleren met het slappe excuus dat het hotel volzet was, dus volledige betaling en nul waarde. Dus beste reizigers, misschien beter een andere plek in Limoges zoeken dan het Hotel de Paris van de heer Thierry Verhoustraeten. Voor een zogenaamde professional ("wij zijn geen airbnb" ...) in de horeca was dit gedrag totaal niet gastvrij.

An excellent hotel in a superb location near the historic centre and close to bars and bistros. The staff were friendly and helpful; the room was immaculate, freshly decorated, with a very comfortable bed and pillows. A great night’s stay with a good breakfast in the morning.

I loved the location for me, a middle aged solo female traveller, it was very safe and convenient. The host was extremely welcoming. From the delightful French style hotel I could walk to all points of interest and the river Vienne.

A perfect stay at this lovely hotel. Spotlessly clean, very friendly and helpful host who speaks excellent english. Super french breakfast. Close to the centre and railway station. We will be staying again in the future.

You get one miserable pillow for your bed. Question of doubt when you say, only one towel in our room for two people… breakfast, is from the processed packet. More importantly, don’t touch the automatic door - that’s the greeting you get from your host. I could go on….. but we won’t be back. P. S. Bring your own shower gel Barry - Ireland 🇮🇪

19th century building beautifully restored, combining traditional features with contemporary styling. Personal, friendly service, good breakfast in delightful dining area. Also represents excellent value for money.

The hotel is located in a very convenient position to the train station (5 mins walk). There is also parking outside the hotel on the road and also directly opposite in a large car park. The building of the hotel is beautiful, with many original features. The decor now is a perfect mix of contemporary with the old. I had a room in the 2nd floor. It was at the front of the hotel and overlooked the street below and the park and the railway station beyond. The room was very comfortable and had all the facilities you would expect of a hotel of this category. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and welcoming. I was provided with recommendations for a place to eat an evening meal and it was close-by and didn’t disappoint. The proximity of the hotel to the old town is excellent and only a short walk away. Breakfast the following morning was plentiful and very tasty. It was a buffet selection. All in all it was an excellent stay. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending this hotel as a choice if you’re staying in Limoges.

Beautiful building with many original features. Our bedroom 11 was on the first floor with a balcony. Although compact, it had everything we needed for a one night stay. Breakfast pretty good. Good value.

Just had a great few days in Limoges staying at the hotel de Paris. Lovely building, very stylish and full of character. Room was very comfortable with a large spacious bathroom. Continental Breakfast was served in a lovely room, my husband had boiled eggs which he loved. We would certainly use hotel de Paris next time we're in Limoges as we found it to be perfect for our needs, including having a car park right across the road. We also spoke to other travellers during our stay who told us they love the Hotel and one person told us he has been to a variety of Hotels here and in his opinion, the Hotel De Paris is the best hotel in Limoges. I must say we agreed as we had researched other hotels and this hotel looked to be the best. Just want to thank the owner for his assistance and advice on where to visit and eat.he gave us some great advice. Will certainly stay again.
