Hotel con vista panoramica mozzafiato. Ottima la colazione, personale gentilissimo e ottima pulizia delle camere.

Goed middenklasse hotel prima bedden en kussens Ontbijtbuffet en dinerbuffet gevarieerd genoeg met veel salades diverse groenten en keus in vlees en vis. Je kunt gebruik maken van beide hotels ook Olimpo met kabelbaantje goed te bereiken. Zwembad en restaurant Olimpo vonden wij fijner en rustiger. Bij Antares hoor je de snelweg goed. Beter aan zwembad kant kamer vragen zo ver mogelijk naar achteren. Bereikbaarheid goed er gaan een bus naar Taormina maar taxi's zijn erg duur.

Hotel was echt een ramp. Twee nachten wakker gelegen omdat het bed zo vies was dat we er heel de nacht jeuk in hadden. Toen we de volgende dag wakker werden zaten we vol rode bultjes. We dachten te ontspannen in de Spa maar dit was de grootste grap, sauna’s waren koud, het water was koud en veel was kapot. Toen we daar ons geld van terug vroegen kon dit niet. Blij dat ik hier weg ben.

Goede kamer, ruim, met terras en uitzicht op zee; maar een beetje gedateerd, zoals het hele hotel in het algemeen.
Het ontbijt is vrij karig.
Het is een goede optie om in de buurt van Taormina te slapen, zonder in de stad te zijn waar parkeren onmogelijk is.

The hotel is very good but getting there is rather complicated. We were part of a group of 41 OAP's and getting from the coach park to your room is a challenge. First you have to walk through a tunnel then take a lift ( only 4 people with luggage) and only 2 lifts. After that you walk across a terrace and wait for a funicular to get to reception. Our room was no. 3044 which means taking another lift to go 4 floors down. Then to get to the dining room 4 floors up to reception and then another lift 2 floors up. Confusing, isn't it ? The room itself was excellent and even had a kettle. The room is large, well furnished and comfortable with a decent sized terrace and magnificent views. So no complaints about the room and dining room where meals are buffet style. If you have mobility problems ( which some of our group have) then this may not be the ideal place for you. But as I have said it's a lovely hotel.

Stayed in September 2023 for a week with friends last month, yes the hotel is not the easiest to get too on foot, however the hotel is a really great place to stay. The service and the choices of food were superb in the restaurant and we had the all inclusive option. I would certainly recommend it as well and the facilities were of a very very high standard, the place is very clean and friendly. The service that we received from all of the staff was fantastic. We stayed in room 3424 and had a great view of the sea.

If you are looking for a nice place with owesome views, it's undoubtedly for you. The panoramic elevetor which connects all buildings is one of the main attraction. The neighbourhood of Taormina, Isola Bella or Giardini Naxos make the place even more interesting. All rooms are very tidy and were cleaned every day. On first day in the room were waiting for us sweets in the room. The building consist of two parts with rooms - Olimpo and Antares, which is more modern. Each building has a separate restaurant with 'fully-equipped" bar. ;) On the evenings there was a live music in the bar, or outside. But the whole complexion is really big and you have to be carefull no to get lost in it. The food was exellent with a lot of pasta, frutti di mare, fish etc. The breakfasts were a little bit boring. All stuff was charming and hellpfull, especially one young barman with a charming voice. I this year I was there two times and I really reccomend the place for those who want to take a breath and enjoy the time in Sicily.

Stayed here for 6 nights with a group of over 70s, as a coach/air trip from UK. This hotel is situated on the side of a mountain, and access from street level on foot is via a tunnel under a motorway, then a lift, then a walk across another terrace, then up a funicular, to reception level. On arrival we were delayed by an unexpected daily charge for using the pools and access to drinks including water at the bars and restaurant. Our UK guide was also unaware of this in advance. We really had no choice but to pay up and were fitted with a wristband. Our room (upgraded by us to panorama in advance) was large, spacious, clean and well appointed. The view was spectacular. However, it overlooked a terrace where music played each evening until late. Food was very good, all buffet style help yourself. Pool on level 4 was lovely, very busy and noisy with loud music. Some activities offered but we didn’t participate. Another pool further down but didn’t use that one. Lots of sun beds around the pools and terraces. This hotel is very noisy, lots of young children staying with echoes of their cries and shouts all around. Reception area especially noisy. In summary this hotel is more suited to younger guests. No porterage offered by the hotel when we left for a 5 am pick up for our flight home.
