From the warm personal tour of the facility by Dawn upon arrival, to the quiet beautiful setting in the Driftless coulee area of Wisconsin, to the fantastic breakfast spread each morning, this place was just what my family was looking for to enjoy the outdoors and each other. We hiked the 200 acres of fields and woods with our dogs, prepared a birthday feast which we served in the Studio, fed llamas, and enjoyed family time in the Paul Bunyan Cabin and common area of the Presidential Suite. Views from the ridges above the main building area were breathtaking. The night sky was also phenomenal. Donna's Breakfast egg bakes, homemade yogurt with granola, and muffins were scrumptious and robust. And all was topped off with a birthday medley played on a player piano in the Lodge. Wonderful place to unwind and refocus. Thank you, Dawn, Donna, and Don

Our day after Valentine's Day stay was lovely. Everything was cozy and romantic. Donna is a fabulous cook (breakfast) and I'm so glad she sat and visited with us. This whole place is a gem. We'll be back in warmer weather to check out the trails.

Beautiful Bed & Breakfast! We stayed in the Queen Suite...the room was cozy & had everything you need with attention to detail! Donna was an amazing host & made a delicious breakfast every morning! The farmstead & property is stunning with quiet, serene trails for walking. Loved everything about this place! It is close to LaCrosse and we drove into LaCrosse to hike & sightsee! Also nearby just minutes away is the Cotter Pin Bar & Grill...great meal & service! Wonderful anniversary weekend ❤️

We biked the Elroy-Sparta Trail and needed a relaxing place to stay near Sparta. At Justin Trails, we found a modern, tastefully appointed cabin with comfortable beds, beautiful grounds, spotlessly-clean conditions, environmentally-thoughtful operations, friendly staff, and a delicious breakfast. Llamas too!

Our stay was fantastic. Exactly what my husband and I were looking for: quiet getaway in the country to focus on eachother without dailylife distractions. Our favorite part was that the place is run completely by family. Its a team effort there and all homemade food. The bed was super comfy and everything was very clean. We played the disc golf course for some fun and a great way to see the property while getting a little exercise. The stars and bonfire at night were highlights. There is great dining supper club style nearby too. We plan to return with our kids for the frisbee golf course. Highly reccomend!

We stayed in chicken coop… fan and air conditioner were filithy. Offered us towels that were stained, but they were laundered…said no for $200 a night! Granola was rancid n creamer in room was so old it curtled! Not worth the money. I expect clean when I stay somewhere.

As a solo, I reserved the cheapest accommodation but when I arrived the Snugaloo had bees visiting, so I was upgraded to a very pleasant one-room with a fridge, shower and other luxuries. I had come to ride the Sparta-Elroy bike trail but the stay at Justin Trails was an unexpected bonus. Tranquil, quiet, restorative. It was just cool enough to enjoy the firepit after I returned from the ride (I'm from Florida so your results may vary). A bit up the road in Leon, the Cotter Pin was a convenient dinner spot. A longer but direct drive to Viroqua takes you to the Driftless Cafe and its farm-to-table cooking. The breakfast at the resort features items like homemade cider and granola, and farm fresh cooked vegetables. I had forgotten how much corn is grown in Wisconsin until I made the drive through the fields surrounding the farm. Be sure to look for the binder with the history of the property you are staying at. Well worth the trip and the price, IMHO.

Unique relaxing and comfortable place to unplug. We are so happy with our experience there, everything was great! We will definitely be going back. It was a great place to make our home base while enjoying the area
