Alpine Rivers Inn

The hotel pics show location in the woods. It is actually off of HWY 2. Yes next to the river that you cannot get down to and across the river are several tiny cabins. So not much for being secluded, the river is nice. It is quiet for the most part except the person upstairs who sounded like they were moving furniture, but did not last long. It is a basic room with mini fridge, microwave, Keurig, and hairdryer that did not work. The bed not great kind of sunk in. Pillows were good. Comforter was a queen stuffed in king cover. Works just a little tacky. TV has cable, no premium channels, except Disney. There was a DVR attached behind the TV which I thought was weird. Hopefully, there were no cameras in the room...just kidding 😂. There is wifi did not try since cell service is good. Shower has good water pressure. Bathroom faucet not so much. They do give plenty of towels and soaps and shampoo. The Continental breakfast sausage, egg patties, cereal, yogurt, assor**ent of bread and muffins. It is ok if you're in a hurry. Coffee not very good. Overall it is ok and know Leavenworth is overpriced no matter where you stay or even eat. As long as you keep your expectations in check it is fine and helps to support the local community. It is about 15-20 minute walk to downtown Leavenworth. Also, the heater works well but is noisy kept us up the first night. The second night I put it on sleep mode. I got better sleep not sure if that helped or not. Staff are nice.

It was fine. It’s a bit tired and could use some upgrading. Staff was great at check in. Coffee is good, but if it’s breakfast you want, probably better to go to a proper restaurant. Loved the river off the balcony!

Half of the outlets didnt work and they didnt fix/swap the room. The shower controls were not secured. The river view was beautiful and the bedding was incredibly comfortable.

We enjoyed how close it was to downtown Leavenworth, basically walking distance. The breakfast was good, selection was not large but food was good and the coffee was delicious! The view from our deck was nice as we looked onto the river- very pretty with all the snow. The only thing I didn’t like about the property was that I felt that it could use an update. The room was partially carpeted and there was a slight odour when I walked in.

I saw hair on the mattress sheet . I usually like to check the mattress sheet and that was not clean for sure . Employees were very friendly and nice and the complimentary breakfast was very good .

Really friendly staff, great bedding and room. Very short toilet, so if you have trouble bending low, it may not be for you. But, everything else was better than expected. I was impressed that it looked exactly like the pictures posted, so there was no disappoin**ent. And the coffee, tea and hot chocolate available in the lobby all day and until 11:00 was really nice!

The rooms were charming and had everything you need. Great view and very close to downtown. The breakfast was great and this place is an awesome value.

I loved that our room had a view of the river. It was a nice and quiet little place to stay. It was close in proximity to everything we had planned while we were in Leavenworth.

The Alpine Rivers Inn is well located just outside the central downtown area but very walkable. Unfortunately the hot tub was broken during our stay but the breakfast was excellent for being included in the rate.
