This tiny house had the best layout of the many we've visited in Leadville. It was a little rundown in the interior with some staining on the couch cushions and other mostly aesthetic issues. The lofts can only be accessed by ladder - no stairs - so keep that in mind if you don't like climbing.
Our biggest complaint was that we couldn't figure out how to adjust the heat so we spent the first night hot and stuffy before we learned the right combination of windows to open to allow some airflow. I hate that there is no recycling, but I get that this is not a service that Leadville provides.

Lost power in the morning. Not restored quickly. Had to throw out breakfast and leave without feeding my kid

Great location! The house actually felt bigger than I would have thought. I would bring a small table (depending on what one they assign you) that would have been great for some games. Also, I would bring a snow shovel in the winter. The parking space was shoveled, but only enough to get the car in, so getting in and out of the car in the snow was tough without having to do a little more shoveling.

Very nice tiny home. First time staying. I came during the winter storm and the drive way was not plowed so i got stuck (all wheel drive) in the snow. Overall good place to stay.

The tiny home was as expected, but unfortunately the heater was not up to the winter weather. The ground floor was very cold and I had to wear a few layers of clothes. The sleeping loft was fine as the heat rises.

Stayed in the Duke tiny home over New Year's. Despite being advertised as sleeping 5 it only came with linens for 3 (and only 2 towels) and not enough dishes. The main contact was easy to get ahold of, but it took some time for them to contact the local manager. Everything was delivered, but be sure to check you have everything before it gets too late. We've stayed in one of the other tiny homes and it was definitely warmer than Duke. The wall unit, small space heater and thin comforters definitely weren't enough but we managed.

The tiny home was amazing. Very clean and beautiful. When we got there we thought the house was going to be freezing but the heater was on and it was a pleasant surprise. 10 out of 10!

I always enjoy my stays here. However, there NEEDS to be a better job of cleaning done. This time the furniture already had stains on it. No extra blankets, no extra sheets. I would also recommend getting better curtains/shades for better privacy.
I'm sure I'll be back again! 🙌

The heater in the kitchen kept shutting itself off. Thank goodness you had 2 other heating units. Extra blankets would have been nice. And A rug to enter the house would have been nice. We will stay again, but will bring blankets with us.
