The hotel on the outside was very nice. When we got to our room it was another story… there were bugs in the bathroom and the water wouldn’t drain in the shower. Bugs flying everywhere. Wouldn’t stay here again but would visit the ******.
Some front desk staff were undertrained and unfriendly, especially when we had a problem with keys. Duty manager was conciliatory, but the promised compensation has not been provided. Real shame as the hotel is stunning with amazing facilities and location. When MGM takes over, training of the main front desk staff must be prioritised. By contrast, Identity staff provided outstanding and efficient service, especially Jeffrey. I will definitely visit again, but avoiding front desk wherever possible.
The hotel is located right in the middle of the Strip so it is very convenient to go any directions even just by walking within the Strip. We were being upgraded to a suite for a fraction of the cost while checking in through the front desk. However when we tried to check in through the Kiosk, it asked us to see the Hotel Ambassador. Unfortunately, we were told by the check in staff that we had to paid extra $30 to get an early checkin (they said the regular check in time was 3:00pm and it was 2:30pm already). We dined at the Eiffel Tower Restaurant which had great food at a reasonable price. Will definitely go back for reasonably price
Location is good for both walking and driving. Especially car entrance is located on the side as well so you can escape the traffic jam on *****.
There some smells maybe detergent they use to clean the carpet was not comfortable. Will get used to it in 5-10 minutes.
Quick for Valet parking. Staffs are nice and quick.
The concierge from the room phone were really rude when answer the questions , and the hair dryer blocked , asking a replacement , waiting for so long , called again , the house keeping was very rude to tell me to be patience even it’s over 15 mins waiting …
The service here is sucks !! I won’t come stay here anymore
The hotel was beautiful and conveniently located on the Vegas *****. They allow you to store your luggage before check in and after check out, which made it easier to travel around. Highly recommend staying at this hotel!
Hotel is huge, big ******, and lots of amenities inside the hotel. Location es good, at the end of the *****. It is a bit outdated. Still rooms are decently big and clean for the price. There was a huge line for checking in.
I had the very bad experience for the first time in my life.
1. I paid for Premier King bed (confirmed by Trip.com). My booking number is *********** (check-in on Oct 8, check out on Oct 11). But the hotel offered me Queen twin beds. I ask the check-in lady staff “why?”. That lady was very rude to me. She reacts “I don’t know”. She goes on “no Premier King bed available”. She told me to ask the 3rd person, whom I booked my room (Trip.com). And she forced me to take the Queen twin beds.
2. I tried to communicate with Trip.com. I got very poor solution. The Trip.com just explained me that the hotel is under renovation, there are not enough rooms, and I accept the room Queen twin beds already. So these are the solution! Sic!
3. When I was in that Queen twin beds room, I got a call from the hotel supervisor. I was very happy because I expected that he would change my room to my paid one, Premier King bed. Unfortunately, I was threatened by the guy to reinforce me to take this room (Queen twin beds), even though I tried to prove him. I got only the reaction from him that “do you need translator?”. It is too rude to me!!!
4. I have only this choice. I have to accept! It’s the very good experience to book hotel trough the third party!
Good location and fancy hotel lobby. Was given floor 2 thought requested for high floor. Room smells bad and looks old. Bed is extremely comfortable though which was a surprise.
The last time I was at the rio was many, many moons ago. It does not look like it does now. When I was waiting to check in, there was a huge line of people with only 2 front desk employees. This is not fair for the staff or 6 I was in line for almost 1.5 hours. When I finally got to check in, my front desk representative was amazing. She was so nice caring, and apologetic. I wasn't upset with her, I was upset with the hotel about making their employees go through that. As stated she was amazing. I got my room key and I was the one who apologize to her. This is not her fault. When I got to my room, it was breath taking. The room was ginormous. Everything was beautiful even the view. The ****** floor needs to have a lot of things to upgrade but the room was completely comfortable. I hope Rio reads my post.
Just used it as a base for going out! I liked the location off the *****, although it wasn’t totally convenient at late night.
Would have been nice to have complimentary coffee in the morning.
Otherwise lovely clean comfy place!
Aliante was the perfect resort for my recent work trip to Vegas. The rooms are very comfortable, well appointed and very clean. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful and the ****** area has enough f&b offerings to keep you happy if you don’t want to venture far. The area around the hotel is safe and pretty quiet with a decent amount of places to grab a bite to eat within a short drive. It is pretty darn far away from the “normal” Vegas action, but I have to assume you know that if you are considering staying here.
I had a wonderful experience with my family and dog Marley. The Hampton is very close to the strip. I love the free parking, free breakfast and the pool. Very laid back, clean & quite. I would definitely recommend and I will definitely stay my next visit.
One glitch--a consistent, persistent problem--but otherwise a decent stay at this hotel. The room was clean, comfortable, quiet, and modernized. Staff and hotel guests alike were taking proper COVID safety precautions. The problem area was that nobody was at the front desk any of the three times that we went there for something. At check-in...had to wait for someone to show up. At check-out...had to wait for someone to show up. Had a question about something during our stay...had to wait for someone to show up.
The hotel is very close to the convention center. The booked room does not include breakfast, wifi is charged, and it is more expensive. It is recommended to book the widi equipment in advance on Ctrip. There is no free water supply. Be good to go to the supermarket to buy water reserves in advance, the waiter is very friendly, very enthusiastic and patient. The room was clean, comfortable and very atmospheric. The facilities are very complete and perfect. It is good to take a break from the downtown area. Great! Great
First trip to Vegas after wife passed last August. Chose this hotel because it was the first place we stayed downtown. We had been coming to Vegas for many years and started to stay downtown. We have stayed here many times over the years. I checked in at 5:00 about on July 31 and stayed to August 4th. Check-in was fast and easy. The employee at check-in was ok. I spoke to 2 other front desk employees during my visit. Once to get a boarding pass printed off. Lin I believe was her name she was excellent and very friendly fun to talk to. Also at check-out at 3:45 AM. Another very friendly person considering the time. Check-out was simple. Food: Ate both at Magnoils and the Chicago Brewery. Had breakfast at Magnolis the food and service was great. Chicago Brewery was also excellent. Had Chicago Dog is was excellent. The bartenders were very friendly and fun to talk to. Loved being able to play video poker and eat and have a few beers. Very pleasant experience. Beverage service: Not a big drinker, but the severs were excellent and friendly. For me they came often enough. Table Games: Did not play much they seemed friendly what I observed. $10 and 15 table limits. I was there during the week. During the week table games close from 4AM to 8AM. Room: I was on the 5th floor by the elevator. Nice and close. I was on the quiet side, which is nice, but did not matter to me. Room had a coffee maker. One of the 2 elevators were out, but could use the service elevator so it did not make that much of difference. I did not have any real issues. My floor was very quiet and did see hardly anybody. When I arrived my room was very clean and did not have any housekeeping come into room, Did not feel it was necessary. The housekeepers I ran into seemed friendly. No issues in my room everything was great, beds were fine. ****** itself was clean for the most part, and the service friendly for me. A variety of machines new and old. I did not sit at either of the bars. My observation was people were having a good time. I had a very pleasant stay considering the situation. It was difficult without my wife, but the friendly staff helped. As everyone knows of course no resort fee and 4 Queens' is right in the middle of downtown. I would stay here again if I decide to return. Thanks again to the staff.
