We have been to Farris Bad around 15 times and have found our way to love this place. This is how we do it. We always stay for two nights. One is too little and three is uneccessary. We either have an early check-in or we choose spa time from 2 PM. Then you can anyway get startet before normal check-in at 4PM. We often also have late check-out. We enjoy the spa very much, mainly because of the rituals, aufguss and other sauna experiences. If you don't take part and enjoy them, you will probably don't like staying in the spa for several hours. We don't anymore eat dinner in the restaurant, since we don't find the food there to have enough value for money for eating a 3 course dinner (sorry, Guest Relations Manager). During our two days, we normally eat lunch buffet at Farris, which we find very good for a reasonable amount of money, one day, and we eat dinner at the hotel lounge restaurant Seafood, where they serve burger, ceasar salat, Club Sandwich and so on. For the other meals we choose other options from Larvik's limited collection of restaurants: we order sushi from Sakura Sushi, eat Indian at Spiseriet (stay away from New Ambassadør) or eat at Bedehuset. All in all we love Farris Bad, and now have the exeperience to know exactly how.
