It seems pointless adding yet another bad review of this hotel as it is obviously that the owner doesn’t care as long as the rooms are occupied. All the bad reviews are accurate, don’t let the photos on their website fool you, they must have been taken when the hotel was new. For example the poolside furniture is now cheap plastic sunbeds and tables and the area in poor condition. The hotel is now generally dilapidated and run down and in need of a complete renovation. The ‘simple’ furniture as they call it in my room was falling apart with one bedside table coming away from the wall and a broken bedside light. Fridge was noisy, bed as hard as a plank which is giving me backache, bedspread so worn the pattern has worn off. Wall safe - the key barrel was missing so it couldn’t be securely locked. Balcony privacy panels, glass one badly cracked and the other one delaminating and falling apart. Extractor fan in the bathroom didn’t work. Room cleaning was hit and miss, for the last 3 days of my stay my room wasn’t cleaned or the bin emptied, not great when you are asked not to put loo paper down the loo! Breakfast was mediocre but palatable. When I booked to stay at this hotel I had also booked evening meals, when I came down for dinner the first night and asked where the restaurant was I was told that the evening meals were at another hotel 2 streets away at the Best Western!! The food at the Best Western was excellent. Staff were indifferent and certainly not as customer engaging as the staff I saw at the Best Western. On the plus side the AC was efficient. I’ve visited a lot of hotels around the world from one star to 5 star and this is by far the worst I’ve stayed in. Overall, I wish that I had researched the reviews of this hotel before choosing where to stay, I certainly would have chosen somewhere else.
