Arch Studio Cenang

De prijs-prestatieverhouding is laag. Voor deze prijs kun je een kamer met zeezicht krijgen in Langkawi. Ik bleef maar één dag en vond dat het hotel ernaast goedkoper en kosteneffectiever was. Ik raad het niet aan Het. Maar het hotel is behoorlijk artistiek

Hier 3 dagen en 2 nachten doorgebracht en de locatie was redelijk goed. Dicht bij nabijgelegen foodtrucks en het populaire strand van Cenang! Zwembad was net buiten de hotelkamer. Zou ervoor kiezen om hier weer te verblijven als ik terug ben!

Zeer sprakeloos. Het hotelbord is erg klein en moeilijk te vinden. De prijs is niet laag, toch? Er is helemaal geen bediening. Er was geen grote koffer in de lift, dus ik dacht goed na en moest hem alleen naar de derde verdieping dragen... De deur was oud en moeilijk op slot te doen, en ja, het was het meest elementaire sleutelslot... En na het betalen van een borg van 200,- bleek dat onze handdoeken vies waren. Kosten worden in mindering gebracht (slechts één van de drie handdoeken heeft per ongeluk het vuil op de schoenen aangeraakt, een klein vlekje). Dit is de eerste keer dat we in zo'n walgelijke accommodatie verblijven hotel met rotzooi.

Ik ben van mening dat, afgezien van de locatie, al het andere de prijs van 500 per nacht niet waard is. De inrichting van de kamer voelt erg donker aan en de cemen**uren zien er vies uit. De hygiëne is ook niet goed. Er zaten haren in het kussen toen ik het opende en de lakens waren bevlekt. De kant bij het raam is niet erg geluiddicht, overdag is het prima, maar 's avonds laat als er talloze motorfietsen voorbij komen, is het overweldigend. Het belangrijkste is We kwamen rond twaalf uur aan. Zonder ons te vertellen dat we moesten betalen voor vroeg inchecken, namen ze het initiatief om ons in te checken en wachtten vervolgens tot we onze zware koffers naar boven hadden gedragen en de kamer waren binnengegaan voordat we het ons vertelden Ik vergat alleen te vermelden dat er een toeslag van MYR 50 geldt voor vroeg inchecken. Als we wisten dat er een toeslag geldt voor vroeg inchecken, zouden we onze bagage direct hebben achtergelaten en niet vroeg hebben ingecheckt! De receptionist stond daar gewoon te wachten tot we ons het geld zouden geven. Uiteindelijk, omdat de twee meisjes ons zorgen maakten over veiligheidsproblemen, hebben we het uiteindelijk aan ons gegeven. We waren zeer verdacht dat het geld bij de receptie werd bewaard. Ik raad dit hotel niet echt aan. Als het een- of tweehonderd per nacht kost, kan ik er nauwelijks verblijven. Het is veel kosteneffectiever dan dit hotel.

Such a memorable stay. Wonderful hotel, great location, clean, complete amenities, superb excellent customer service. Shout out to the front desk team, Dila, Elsa, Intan & Fatin, and also the housekeeping team ❤️. They did such a wonderful job. They notice that it is my birthday and surprise me with a cake. Such a lovely gesture from the Arch Team. Really appreciates and makes our day. Couldn’t thank you much, will definately stay here again next time.

Arch Studio Cenang is possibly the best hidden gem hotel around the Cenang area. Surprised its categorised as a 2-star hotel cause its clearly at least a 3-4 star. From the outside it may seem very small but from the inside, its a differen't vibe altogher. Having taken the King Studio room, it was simply beautiful and very well managed. The room had a dark ambience vibe rather than a typical 'everything white' hotel feel. If you get the a room on the same floor, you have access to the pool outside your door which is excellent. From the hotel, the beach is just across the road (beside Underwater World Langkawi) and everything is within walking distance that you dont even need to rent a vehicle to get around within the Cenang area. The complimentary breakfast was not buffet, its off the menu so you get to order a single dish from it. In the night there are a local food truck setup right beside the hotel which makes it easy to grab a bite. The hotel staff also are excellent and they had organised a complimentary piece of cake for the birthday of my wife. They were very warm through out the stay with their constant greetings everytime we had passed the receptionist. Also given free are Netflix & YouTube access on the SmartTV (using Mi Android box). The Netflix account is probably shared across the entire hotel but having it is always a bonus to sit in and watch some content on the TV. Managed to chill and watch a few movies in the few days stay there. There are plenty of power sockets everywhere including both sides of the bed for you to charge. Certain plugs also have a USB port in the plug. Oddly, the hotel has this 'turn down' thing whereby around 6PM they will come to the room and pass a card and 2 pieces of kisses chocolate which is odd as they could just do it during housekeeping earlier in the day. They would knock till the door is answered which is a bit of a disturbance just for that if the guests are resting in. The only one thing about the hotel room is that the aircond is very poorly placed and probably even not serviced well enough that unless you are standing/sitting right underneath the AC, you will barely get any wind. Being there 4 full days and never turning off the AC in those days would ideally make the room extremely cold but that was not the case at all as when you step in back the room on a hot and humid day, the AC is pretty underwhelming to say the least. All in all, the hotel's location is perfect, the staff is warm and great, the facilities are amazing, everything is perfect and hope it remains a hidden gem!

Got a surprise from the hotel management saying we got a free upgrade to king bed. Lovely staffs. All very friendly and attentive. Location wise also perfect. Close to cenang beach and have shops and eateries nearby. Overall value for money!!

Very artsy decor, clean and spacious room. Location is really convenient for just anything actually. Really happy with my stay here

The hotel is cute and nice but sadly it's manage by a poor reception team. One of them is so clueless everytime we ask question and another one is "don't give a ****" attitude when handling situation. We booked 2 rooms for 2 nights. On the day we check in, we were informed that one of the room has AC issue and we need to check in to another room and we switch room on 2nd day. Without much question, we say it's fine. However, in the midnight, the AC of the replacement room offered broke down and blowing hot air. We go to reception but the guy can't understand English well and finally he got us another room during the night. On 2nd day, we packed our luggage and handed the key to reception before we went out so that they can move our luggage into the original room. When we come back around 1.30pm the room is not ready and we were told that it won't take long but not sure when it will be ready. The is the point that got into our nerves because we try to be understanding and didn't make a big fuss despite several incident happened within the 24hours. The reception who came to us doesn't seems sorry to what happened and told us they would not do anything because we agreed to switch the room on 2nd day. Despite all these inconvenience, they still failed to make sure the 3rd room we receive is properly prepared. When we check in to the 3rd room, no toilet paper inside. =_= Breakfast small portion whereby you can only order 1 item. If u order the pancake, u can't have the toast. So we end up getting additional breakfast from the cafe nearby. I doubt the source of the reviews saying the breakfast is great. It's pity that this nice place is manage by wrong people which make it none sustainable.
