Hotel Arenal Springs Resort & Spa

Best view of Arenal Volcano from room. Easy reservation and one one stop shop for us to book all the tours at the same time of reservation. Beautiful property and amazing hot springs. Kids friendly. Very professional staff.

Pros: It’s very pretty with a nice view of the volcano, if no clouds. Showers have a little plant garden. Free minibar and complementary bottle of wine on first night. Has a Nature reserve on the same road as resort which is lovely. Cons: Rooms share a paper thin wall, can hear every word of people in adjacent room. Dinner servers will push “drink specials”but don’t be surprise if they cost $30+ so make sure to ask.

Have been here for seven days and leave tomorrow. For the most part the service has been great except for service at the bar and sushi place at the thermal pool on site. I kept going back to see if it was a fluke but I would say 5 of the 7 days service was poor. Food took over 90 minutes to get one day and a to go sushi order while waiting there took over 30 minutes. This was all mid day and it wasn’t crowded. After waiting about 40 minutes for the sushi we went to the other side of the bar and it was just sitting unattended for who knows how long. Bartenders never seem to ask if you want another drink or anything else. Nice place but the service at the pool area need some work.

This was the loveliest hotel we have ever stayed at. The hospitality was unlike any other hotel we have stayed. This trip was for our 20th wedding anniversary, and we were so touched by the effort the hotel staff went through to make it special from the banner on our door entrance and the flowers, chocolates and wine to the extreme care in which our room was taken care of and the clever little towel animals Cindy prepared for us daily. The hotel staff made our anniversary meal one to remember as they prepared balloons and hearts and flowers all over our special dining area. From the cool towel and cold drink when you enter the hotel on reception to the attention to detail on all guest excursions and rides, this experience was amazing. You could actually hear the birds and wildlife throughout the day as you relaxed in the hot springs. I hated to leave this bit of heaven on earth.

This resort is amazing! It is International and the service is spectacular. Food is so fresh and tasty, the termal pools feel so good when back from the physical tours. The grounds are well cared and call to walk barefoot. You wake up and can have your coffee looking at the Arenal Volcano. This is a great resort and what makes is its employee. They are so kind and servicial. Would definitively come back in a heart beat.

This resort is a spa experience and we highly recomment it. You are greeted with towels to refresh you after your drive to the resort, followed by a welcome drink during the check-in process. The lodging is a private bungalow with views from your veranda facing the Arenal Volcano. There are on-site hot springs and numerous pools and swim-up bars to spend your days and nights relaxing. The food is fabulous with unending choices to please absolutely everyone. Our highest regards go to every staff member we came in contact with, including the front desk members, golf cart drivers, bartenders, wait staff, hostesses, tour organizers, pool towel/shower staff, and groundskeepers. Nothing can compare with the Arenal Resort and Spa!

Outstanding. 5 out of 5. Could not be more magical or serene. Rooms were gorgeous. Wide variety of local food for breakfast, our favorite breakfasts of our vacation. Would definitely return to this most fantastic resort! Very much enjoyed the spa.

Pools and hot springs were heavenly. Breakfast is vast and amazing. Italian restaurant is sooo yummy. Hotel staff are super friendly and attentive. Beds are comfortable and showers are nice. Loved the solar panels heating the water. We loved everything about our stay.

Beautifully designed resort with great amenities and setting. Very family friendly. Breakfast is diverse and delicious. Rooms are very comfortable with spectacular views.Great service. Loved our stay. Hot springs are great. Would come back again.
