Nous avons séjournes dans cet hôtel après un premier séjour il y a 10 ans. Nous étions dans un bungalow dans le jardin qui était propre et bien entretenu. La sdb semblait avoir était rénovée. En tout cas elle était moderne et très jolie. La piscine est sympa (avec un petit bar dans l’eau) mais vieillissante. Le seul vrai point a amélioré est la qualité du buffet le soir. Cela semble être en cours car un soir un serveur ou cuisinier nous a demandé un feed-back. Quoi qu’il en soit je revommsnde cet hôtel pour un séjour à la digue.

Nous avons l’habitude de voyager et je recommande absolument pas cet hotel qui est cher par rapport aux prestations proposées.

Casimenent plus rien ne va ici! Quel dommage car le cadre a tout pour plaire. Jardins bien entretenus et plage au pieds des lodges. Le paradis s'arrête ici. Les chambres sont dans un piteux états.(voir photos) La clim est bruyante et ne rafraîchit presque pas. Attention les salles de bain sont ouvertes en haut sur l extérieur et la nuit de nombreux insectes vous rendent visite! Faut il encore pouvoir acceder aux chambres. Nous avons attendu 1h30 qu'elle soit prête en nous faisant ballader tous les quart d'heure par un employé. Pas d'eau renouvelé tous les jours, seulement une bouteille d'eau filtré à l arrivée... vu la chaleur et le prix de l'herbgergement c'est très limité. Tout comme les verres qui n'ont pas été changé malgré leur utilisation mais qui ont été replacé comme si ils l'avaient été. La piscine est bien située mais tout le bord est vert ainsi que les sièges du bar de piscine(photos) Le buffet est mauvais en qualité gustative mais change tous les jours. Le thème créole du samedi est correct. Le personnel est mal organisé et lent, surtout au repas. Une lampe de chevet a été cassée par la femme de ménage est laissée à terre. Nous ne l'avons jamais revu bien qu'elle ai été prise pour réparation. Le wifi fonctionne très mal et une reconnexion est nécessaire à chaque fois. De toutes les réparations demandées aucune n'a été faite. L'île de La Digue est incroyable venez la visiter mais fuyez cet hôtel!

Die Anlage ist direkt am Meer und ist schön instand gehalten. Das Personal ist punktuell sehr freundlich, teilweise aber leider auch sehr unmotiviert (das Personal ist auch deutlich unterbesetzt!!!). Die nicht renovierten Chalets werden zum selben Preis wie die renovierten Chalets verbucht. Das Essen ist deutlich mangelhaft für den verlangten Preis. Das Preis Leistungsverhältnis ist bei diesem Hotel richtig enttäuschend. Bereiten Sie sich auf einen enttäuschenden Aufenthalt vor, dann werden Sie wahrscheinlich weniger enttäuscht sein, obwohl auch dann eine Enttäuschung vorhanden sein wird... Es hat uns nicht überzeugt.

Food quality in the restaurant is too poor! Not enough choice and if you come after 8:30pm for dinner there is not much left, best is to be there at 7 pm. Despite waiters and waitresses efforts who are very nice and look to satisfy you (special thanks to the young guy preparing omelettes, he prepared pancakes and pain perdu for my daughter while there was no more left). Breakfast is also very disappointing with very few choice. Rental bikes are a joke!

- have chosen this hotel because I needed wifi for work. Was not working the entire stay. Asked 3 times at reception - nobody cared. No excuse, no try to help. Had to buy an eSIM myself. - pigeons eating from breakfast buffet - nobody cares - if u wanna go to dinner buffet late choise of buffet can be over.

Lana is just a wonderful guide. She has an excellent eye and found me lots of great photo subjects. The diving at Ave Maria and Sister Island is fantastic. Octopus, sharks sleeping in caves and even a manta ray at the end of a Sister Island dive. All dives were well worth it and I am a tough customer with over 500 dives.

Our stay at La Digue Island Lodge was a real disappointment - from arriving to departure. The bad service started just from that we checked in and the staff insisted to have our booking voucher in physical papers. The check-in process thereafter continued very slow… Overall we felt that the staff found the guests as annoying. When we visited the pool bar the staff sighed when we asked to see the cocktail menu. The staff that manage the towels looked at us sleepily when we wanted to have towels. About the food, the breakfast was okay but the dinner was tasteless, definitely not worth the money! We lived in a chalet that was quite worn out with lots of insects. The day we checked out was a rainy day and the ferry didn’t departure until after lunch. We decided to pick up take away food (the lunch at the restaurant was extremely expensive and due to the standard of the food at the buffet we didn’t want to chance). Due to the rain we decided to sit in the waiting area (where you also stored your luggage). Suddenly the staff told us we couldn’t sit in the waiting area and eat and what we had to go outside. We asked him if we had to stand outside in the rain and have our lunch, and he insisted (because of his boss that called from somewhere else on the hotel area). Do we have to say that we never will come back to this place and never will recommend anyone other to visit Island Lodge?
