The Gran Hotel Paris overall was a safe space and clean. It’s across the street from a somewhat questionable park with transient people roaming about. When you enter the hotel, there is a security person at the front entrance. The lobby area is clean and well maintained. Although my Spanish wasn’t the best, I was still able to communicate with the person at the front desk. All front desk personnel were friendly and accommodating to all of our needs. The rooms were clean and met all of our needs. Note, the elevator has a weight limitation. The pool area was clean but could be loud due to the sounds of the city and surroundings. The food in the attached restaurant was very good(for dinner). The breakfast buffet was ok . You can exchange American $$ but don’t bring $20 dollar bills for exchange. This is seen as “drug” money. Overall, I would stay here again…
