Self-checkin machine user friendly. Room very spacious for 2 persons with good hygiene.
No free coffee bags in room.

We ordered 2 rooms, and the temperature of both rooms was not consistent... It kept shifting from lava hot to lukewarm, and this is unacceptable.

The hotel was clean. The location is very close to Kyoto Station. A lot of shops near the hotel. However, the hotel does not provide a microwave and I was not able to warm up my food.

Location is next to Kyoto JR station. Room aircon cannot be changed to cool as it is central control to heater. Have to borrow fan from front desk and open the room window to cool the room.

This hotel was in a really great location, right beside the main Kyoto train station. The room was very spacious and had a nice view of the Kyoto station so you could see the shinkansen trains come in. The only drawback is that at night you could hear the vehicles outside. I would definitely stay here again.

Hotel in an excellent location to the main train station. Our room was good size and clean. I would have given it a 4.5 instead for service. I didn’t use the cleaning room service because it was not necessary for 2 nights but getting the extra day amenities was slightly challenging at the Front Desk. Eventually it was provided (after1/2hr) but not as smoothly as the Hotel Metropolitan in Tokyo Ikebukuro.

Location is great but in terms of service, they won't go beyond. For example, I was asking front desk regarding what's the dinner box menu in room service, and the reception will simply ask you to walk to their restaurant and ask the counter. Actually a single call from them should be able to tell us directly. In the end, I went to the restaurant and nobody was in front desk. It is not easy to get cooked food or take out food especially after 8pm. Hopefully the front desk can help to provide better recommendation. Overall stay is good, restaurant is always fully reserved while the buffet breakfast is always long queue and have to wait. I just think the restaurant service need to have alternative to cater for more folks.
