Ik moet dit hotel een duim omhoog geven. Super nieuw hotel, super goede service, super netheid, roze meisjesachtige uitstraling, en de wijnkast in de kamer is geweldig. Er werden twee dozen macarons en talloze koekjes weggegeven. Er is een Chinees menu voor het ontbijt, wat een vaste maaltijdwaarde heeft. Tijdens het ontbijt kunt u genieten van het landschap van de Kamogawa-rivier, wat buitengewoon bevredigend is. Je moet dit hotel kiezen als je naar Kyoto gaat. Vergeleken met vijfsterrenhotels die vaak meer dan 10.000 yuan kosten, is de prijs een fractie van een vijfsterrenhotel en is de service super vijfsterren. Er zijn ook gratis gezichtsmaskers elke avond Dyson föhn. Ook het mooie meisje bij de receptie op de eerste verdieping spreekt een paar woorden Chinees, en de obers in het restaurant kunnen min of meer een paar woorden Chinees spreken, waardoor mensen zich thuis voelen!
Tienduizend bevredigingen. Trouwens, de Wifi is extreem snel. Hahaha. Ook is er geen aanbetaling vereist bij het inchecken.

De kamer is groot van formaat en er is een bushalte voor de deur. Er zijn veel macarons, koekjes en andere snacks aanwezig op de kamer. Er worden ook elke dag bleekmaskers verstrekt. Jammer dat er geen bad is "Het is tenslotte erg moeilijk om terug te keren naar het hotel nadat je elke dag in Kyoto bent geweest. Je moet je voeten laten weken; het personeel is erg enthousiast, hun Engels is goed en de communicatie verloopt soepel. Er is echter maar één vaste maaltijd voor het ontbijt, dat is een beetje emm op de derde dag... De kamer kijkt uit op de Kamogawa-rivier, en het is ook geweldig om elke dag op de tiende verdieping te ontbijten met een ver uitzicht.

I had an excellent stay at Fauchon. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality. The hotel staff were also incredibly attentive and polite throughout our stay.
My room was small but comfortable, featuring modern and luxurious amenities that were stylishly pink in colour and comfortable bedding. The attention to detail in the room was impressive, with thoughtful touches including a whole array of complimentary cookies and cake. Breakfast was served as a set menu and selection was limited and basic but expertly prepared and presented.
The hotel's location was also perfect for me because it is situated right in the heart of Kyoto yet away from the crowded spots with excellent access to public transportation. The bus station is right in front of the hotel, the nearest train station is about 10 mins walk and the hotel is approx 15 mins walk to Kawaramachi Street (shopping area). Just behind our hotel is the river and all the restaurants. Our room has the mountain view.

This luxury boutique hotel exceeded our expectations. The attention to detail is impressive. Every aspect of the guest experience has been thought through. From check-in to check-out, we felt like VIPs. The room was as beautiful as it was comfortable. Food at the Geand Café was spectacular. Perfect location, with several several buses stopping right in front of the hotel, making exploring Kyoto very convenient. Short walk to Gion and other interesting areas. The only area for inprovement would be offering a wider selection for breakfast. It was excellent, but we wished there were additional options. Will return next time I’m in Kyoto!

The room is bigger than average in Japan. Have comfortable bed and pillows. Miss Kana is very helpful and attentive.
