Dichtbij station Nijo
Naast Fresco-supermarkt
Doucheruimte heeft verwarming, zo leuk in de winter
Bied gratis gebruik van de wasmachine en droger in de badkamer aan.
Alles ziet er nieuw en schoon uit.

Een beetje ver van het JR Nijo-station. Maar de kamer was erg schoon en het personeel was erg vriendelijk.

The hotel was very basic. Smaller than expexted. The receptionist lady was very good and professional. Her service was 6 out of 5!

Nice budget hotel but staff are not always there if you get there before check in time and you'd like to leave your luggage there.

Be careful, this is not a 4-star hotel, I believe this is a 2-star guest house.
We had a very disappointed stay, the room size is considerable smaller than the described and showed in the pictures (there is not space between beds and it is imposible to open a small suitcase).
The room was dirty and we could not reach someone from the hotel to help us (they even don’t answer the hotel emergency phone).
We arrived around 11 PM and we should do self check-in because was nobody in the reception after 10:00 PM).
The self check-in was not a problem, we got instructions by email, but when we enter to the room, the toilet was dirty, and we found hairs in one of the beds (was very dirty behind the beds, I had the impression that nobody really clean our room before we arrived).
Considering that was nobody in the hotel, and nobody answer the emergency hotel phone, we could not ask to someone to change our room for a clean one. We got a partial refund for the problems, but I believe that not compensate the bad moment (Trip.con customer service team help us all the time).

Pro: Location was 10 minute walk from Nijo Station. Very clean hotel. Lots of convenience store around. Reception was very nice.
Cons: No space for our luggages in our room and we had a hard time moving around.

Fairly good place for the few reasons:
- booked a few days before we checked in and the price was worth it
- fairly close to JR Nijo station (7 min walk) which was convenient for us
- staff were really nice and accomodating to store our luggage before we checked in during the afternoon
- located in a marketplace which was good as there were many shops around to eat and shop at
